Ummmmm, well, how about . . . you!! June 13 was a while back, so no one will accuse you of hogging the thread. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Seems that real life has slowed down a whole lot of RP's lately. Sigh. Too bad, this one was a lot of fun, what with the mix of TORC, computer geek stuff, Mulder, Scully, black riders, corpses - we have it all!!!!! Ok, got a post up, with a little hook for whoever wants to get us going to the Choirs. Hope nothing in my conversation with my character violates anything we've established...I think I've forgotten some of the details we'd established before...<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif"border=0>

Hello folks,

I'm afraid with RL priorties, this thread is very much on a backburner for me. Limited to one maybe two, RPs at the mo. Not that I wish to dampen any enthusiasm!<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> You Guys get on, or if the Gathering spurs you along, maybe I'll be inspired to catch up at some point.<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Have fun in Toronto if I don't get to say before!

Is this still going? Because I've read the majority of what I've missed on my little holiday (*cough*) from TORC, and now that I'm back, I'd like to join in again. I've got some ideas for my character, and I see that the actual RP thread's dropped off a bit (I'm assuming... I can't get to the last page because of a failed boolean conversion, whatever that is <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>), so it would be nice to see it up and running again, hmmm?

Ok, so, who wants to keep going? Can we get a roll call of interested people in here?

Also, is anyone *cough*Bardy*cough* up to coming up with a good summary of the thread up to this point? I think all of us are so far behind we all need a refresher. Also, maybe a list of participants, terms, significant stuff we should know...

Also, I hate to say this, but I think anyone who can't be actively part of the group should be put into a holding zone...it'd be easy to put them there, and get them out if they wish to be active again. However, I don't like hauling around deadweight...too many names to remember.
I'd love to continue this RP as well, so count me in.

However, as you all know, my time in the next 6-8 weeks is gonna be scarce, but I'll see if I can't beat the muse into something that I can sneak up on my lunch hour from work.

<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

And yes, a roll call would be nice. RP etiquette sort of demands that if you are not active, write yourself out or agree to let someone else do the honours. And we won't kill anyone off, honest. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-devil.gif"border=0>

I'm willing to give it a go too... my muse has been completely conspiracy-less for a long time now, but I'll see if I can drag some halfway decent material out of her now that my life has calmed down a bit <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>

I'm willing to continue this- I don't think I was ever written out, so, you know... just kind of dropped off there... and I promise I won't do it again. On my honour. So... if it's okay with you, I'll write myself out and then try to catch up with you again?

My post jumps your character up a bit Scribbles, but I reckon there is temporal space for you to put up something if you had something planned for the time before you enter the Stairway.

So, if people do not pipe up that they are in or out do we assume they are out?

Ok, assuming that everything's been done in Guilds that needs to be, I'm requesting that the RP thread be moved up to the Choirs of Eru. If you need to, you can still write stuff that happens in Guilds, but the majority of us are heading up to the next forum, so I'll have it moved.

Well, I'm still here... I've got a half finished post and my muse has up and flown out the window. I'm sure you all know what that's like <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif"border=0>

Anyway, I was having some thoughts... um... where'd they all go? Oh, that's right... since the character I've turned into was only used in like three times, she's not really the most developed RP character you've ever seen, to put it mildly. Pretty one-dimensional. So, that got me thinking, there's a lot of those hanging around the Pony and the Dragon (as I'm sure we all know) and I started wondering what they'd look like. I figured they're probably liable to fall apart at any time, sort of fragile. So, when I post (eventually), that's where I'm going with it. What do you guys think?

And good posts, all. You guys are still full of great ideas <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Ok, as some of you may have discovered, the RP thread was moved, to the Green Dragon. Here's what I got in explanation:

"As per your request, we have reviewed the case. The TORC Conspiracy thread has been located previously in forums which supported RP. The thread, then was not out of place completely. Choirs, however, is not such a place.

We're not comfortable moving it into a forum where it might be inappropriate. We feel the thread might cause disruption and attact negative attention(that is, be disrupted itself). Further, we do not wish to set a precendent which would force us to all other off topic threads to remain in forum where they don't belong in the future.

Therefore, I've moved it to The Green Dragon for the time being. I'm sure your members will understand.

Thanks,
InnocentEvil
I am the Consigliera to the Secret Fire
Tolkien Online -- Sail into the West"

So, not sure whether we'll be continuing to move through the forums as we had. I doubt it will be much of an inconvenience, but not quite as much fun <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>.

Just thought I'd let you all know what's up.
