Hi there folks,

<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> loved the latest stuff, just what I need on a wet Wednesday afternoon.

My muse is pretty much DOA at the moment, and although your excellent writings have sparked an interest, she's still flatlining. (to continue the metaphor <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-rolleyes.gif"border=0>)

So yeah, best bung ole Edain into a Holding area, why not the "Edain and Maeglin's surrounded by gorgeous women thread"!<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

Oh, goodness, Bardy, I hadn't even thought of that... actually, I'm coming up pretty much blank on how to remedy the situation. Does anyone else have any ideas? Or I could show up as RL-me... or not <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

I have a feeling exams are going to suck my muse dry... let's hope not! *stressed smiley*

I can see what Innocent Evil means, actually... Choirs is a pretty quiet place... but then again, we were in Scriptorium, which is also not the busiest of forums... oh well!

Ah... exams? Already?? Eeek. Well, good luck Lalatiel.

I do have an idea for you - in light of your character's predicament.
You are writing her as if your RL persona is pretty 'healthy' and well established.

That alone is an interesting character for this RP.

Or, you could toy with the idea of your RL persona consciously creating the 'ideal RP character' as you go along within the context of the RP's action and plot.

How would the character change? What would it look like? Would your RL persona still be as firmly rooted? How will the other characters react and interact? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

OOoh, the possibilities either way are endless. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Just a few thoughts. Your continued presence is a must, if you ask me. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

~ B

So, anyone got any ideas for what's next? I'm completely clueless right now, mostly muse is focused on the MK battle...anyone got any inspiration? Methods to become inspired? Anything...

Hello all, Rainfield here again, I was just wondering if anyone got a chance to complete the TORC outline for the directory completed... No rushes if your busy, but I would love to get this thread up on the directory.

lalatiel - Nessa and Katie had been dragged down to the bottomless dungeon that is the lost threads forum there to run in screaming and ever decreasing circles as nessamelda vainly chased her muse.....

Sorry folks I've had complete and utter writers block for weeks. I think it may be over, though. I'll try to come up with something.

I figured the vortex could just vacuum up anyone we need to get rid of. Do we have a final list of people to be written out? And who wants to tackle it.

Also, do we want to go straight to the Pony, or find out about the Green Dragon? Seeing how that forum wasn't established when we started this adventure...goes back to that problem of timing...gotta love writing a version of my character that is over a year and a half old<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>

I'm going to leave it open as to whether the place RLM spots is the Green Dragon or the Pony. Someone else gets to decide that<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

How fast do we want to be moving? A couple posts per forum? Massive delays like in A&G? In the Pony, we definitely should have fun...but how many of us remember the RP's and all of TORC in June of 2002? Should we crash a Bard's Festival or something like that?

So I posted just to stop Guru nagging me and the thread has barely gasped for life since.

Is this now consigned to the pile of 'once great, eternally unfinished' threads?

Jus' wond'ring.

I vote for continuing as well. I've sent an e-mail to Bardy, but more because I am concerned about her unusual silence more than I am about an RP languishing. :(

Hopefully, I'll hear something soon or our dear Archer will pop up herself.

Heck! I'm still in denial! That's what a several-month hiatus from the boards will get you. When you come back, you figure nothing's changed in the time you were gone!

So I posted us into the next thread. Yes, I blew our cover with Lys...if he's listening. :D And had a great time envisioning what a world made of nothing but philosophy would look like. Thanks for the vortex, Guru...it took me a bit to figure out what it was, then I realized you were posting around the time TORC's appearance changed. So I hope I guessed right!

Anyway...if this goes longer, I'd love it. It was too much fun to write to lose it. And if it goes to that great RP heaven, well, I will miss it, but it's my own darn fault for not being here.

Have fun!
