Good idea Wiste - but it's so long since Bardy and I wrote Katie's adventures with David, that I'm not sure that I can remember what happened! I can't remember ever even writing a scene where Katie recounted her adventures to Ness, so I don't know how much Ness knows in any case... I'll have to check back in the thread.

Umm, one problem. I haven't heard back from Bardy. I Guess I could do a short post to wake up, and allude to a strange incident which happened while I was asleep, which either Bardy or I can fill in later when I've got the time. I'm just a little pressed, and my muse is gone as well...

Ok, this isn't a double post. I did cook up a little post to get me awake, I hope you all pardon my brevity. I did leave Bardy and myself enough room and hints to post on later, hope you don't mind.

Erm, Wiste... Tinu didn't leave a note--she was taken by the Riders. The only thing she left was instructions for the mixture--just in case. That's the kind of thing I'd do IRL, just b/c I'm paranoid <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0> However, if there were a note, it would have been planted by someone else. And I would think that the others would think foul play was in effect, for why would one of them just suddenly leave, without any real explanation?

Other than that, I am very happy to see Guru's temperature down <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

May yet return...though I will coordinate it with some scheme of Bardy's <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

Okay, I got my post up. It's small, but it gets the point of my new direction in this RP across. AW is gonna go it alone for awhile. Do a little invesitgating and return during some future moment of duress, to help. But only after David M gets his 'upgrades' completed (Bardy, wanna see about that?).

BTW, Scribbles, there is one little reference to AW in the Edlars, could you please edit it out? Thanks!

Hmm... speaking of the next forum, wasn't the Green Dragon created after the TORC Con began? That could be interesting... <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-devil.gif"border=0>

So much has happened since we started posting here.. it’s hard to keep straight sometimes. The Green Dragon is certainly new and the Wedding thread hadn’t happened (which is a shame ‘cause I’d quite fancied running across some shell-shocked wedding guests in the Pony).

I just thought I’d mention that I have posted but true to current form the thread has remained wedged at the bottom of the forum.

I've decided that Katie has to be able to do something that everyone else can't do, as she is the only participant unburdened by character baggage - so I've given her the ability to detect the difference between real and torc personas - only because she is is in a sulk with her mother, she ain't telling anyone..(so Lys can remain safely incognito until he wants to out himself)
Ahhhh, Nessa, that was wonderful! And I agree with Wiste, I too love the "true eyes" angle for Katie. That is going to make for some very, very interesting action, yes indeed. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Now, excuse me, the muse is babbling away insanely in a corner, silly cow. I would like to reiterate what Wisteria has said,

I love posting with you guys, too.

And yes, great post Nessa.

Well, finally I have had sufficient time to gratify the Muses who have been bashing me for some time. Sorry for the mega bap, there was a lot to get across and the scenario isn't over yet..
*flutters lashes*

<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-devil.gif"border=0>

Were we to intersect with the Green Dragon Forum, plausibly only Wisteria, who was on the outside, would know about it. I believe..
The rest of the 'cast' would be clueless... I believe...

And yeah...as for all the other neat stuff that has happened:
The Wedding Thread, the Valentines Thread..and other new threads our characters have joined since then - Rain on Bree, the Mithril Knights, etc. AND new characters we've created.... WOW! Trying to work all that in... the plausibility and logic twists would be pretzel like! <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

IMHO we have plenty of good, creative fodder to work with and to take time and energy to sort out the the plausibility and logic would detract, methinks.

<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Great to read everyone's posts! Especially Bardy's latest BAP, since it's what I've been waiting for<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0> even though she Did kinda pop my nice slaughter of Ted's wraith *sighs* Oh well!

I definitely can't wait till the Pony. We'll be running into some interesting problems though...one question. If it fits, can we ask other people to post to the TORC Con if it works out? I know there are many people our characters interact with in RP there, and I'm wondering if we want them to maybe make a guest appearance.

Plus, how Are we to deal with the intervening time constraints, particularly development of characters. Do we have automatic download? Or what?

On the other hand, Guru, just how much time has passed? It sure hasn't been months, like it has in RL, so we wouldn't run into a lot of that stuff because it hasn't happened yet. This could get incredibly mind-bending.... so I say that we use a little artistic license, incorporate into the RP whatever we think will help the story, and just ignore whatever we don't want <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

cue 60's science fiction TV series cheesy music ....

Time. The final Frontier. To boldly go where . . . what? Oh, sorry . . . <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

music fades out

Well, the time issue has bent our brains before, hasn't it? My humble 2 cents is that we treat the passage of time within the thread as we have been, real days and nights that we use to "do stuff" within the immediate world of TORC that we touch in TorcCon. However, the flow of time in the outside world can be different, at least in relation to the TORC boards, so anything that is presently posted, we can use.

As for our characters memories and their development, I like the auto-download/update feature myself. Hehehe . . .

<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>
