I agree with Wiste - great post Lys. I hope no offence was taken to my child's coffe pouring antics - and I would emphasise that my eldest child would Never really pour coffee on anyone's lap - although she has been known to have strategic tantrums! It's actually getting quite hard to write "Katie" as the real life version has grown up a lot in the last six months or so since I started using her character.

Mwahahahaha! Ok, I'm playing around myself...but isn't this exciting? Four posts in one day!

At least our characters aren't on the same timeline as we are...or else they'd be cooked. I turned up the heat a bit, taking off an idea Bardy put in one of her posts...the conspiritors have a time limit. Makes sense...they're found, or they become one with the system...
Hey Vana, no problem. We all understand how short time can be in real life.

How about we have you "nipping into" the Twilight Guild, you know, to say hello to folks, and you mysteriously disappear into, well, the Twilight? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0> It takes the pressure off you now, but leaves the door wide open for a future comeback if you happen to want that later on.
I agree with you both.

Work has been so frantic (we are implementing a Government website) that my muse has left the house screaming in fear and loathing whenever I have dragged my sorry arse home.

However, Lys's post has lured her back into the general neighborhood (maybe she has a thing for insufferable B&G's, LOL) and I will try to get something up by the end of the week.

Unless Bardy shows up and blows us all away with another Scully/Mulder scenario! Hi... um, it's been awhile since I was here. I just wanted to apologise for abandoning the thread without so much as a word- life was getting hectic and I needed a break from TORC for a while, but that's still no excuse. I really should have sent you guys an e-mail or something. Sorry *ashamed face*. Anyway, I'm glad to see you guys are still going, this is such an awesome RP, you guys are so creative.
And, on a side note, it is so good to be back to TORC after a little sojourn into the Harry Potter fandom, because *breaks down into sobs* Harry Potter fandom is so disturbing!
So, anyways... just thought I'd drop by... see ya <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Hey lalatiel, good to see you! Hope life has calmed down. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

No worries, we probably wrote you back into the possession of ThreadStalker or something. LOL. Yeah, an e-mail or even a post in this thread would have been cool, but still, thanks for letting us know. Better late than never! <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Okay, for the remaining folks, I have put up half of a big-arse post that the muse decided to give me - at work no less - the silly bint.

Feel free to jump in, part 2 is only a rough outline and can easily be edited and/or expanded to fit whatever anyone else tosses into the mix.

Vana, I hope the "pause in the action" I wrote for you is okay. I left the door wide open for a future opportunity to "bump into" you again, hehehe.

Perhaps once we actually get *through* the Followers of Eru tent AND the Choirs of Eru forum, I will have some kindly Mod move the thread to the next Forum, wherever that is, I have to check.

Later!

<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>
Well, the original premise of the story was that we would "break into and run through" the various forums on our way to the "top", pursued of course by various co-operative Mods who would give chase. I think the image was that TORC was like a many layered cake, with the TORC dungeons hidden in the bowels and the forums stacked up on top.

I think the other idea was that the "Owners" forum, i.e. the Ivory Tower Topper of Jon and Ted, crowned the entire structure, so that once we got through Welcome and into forbidden territory in the level above, the entire story would be resolved *somehow* <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-rolleyes.gif"border=0>, and we would all be benevolently sent "home" after helping rescue the poor blighter that got kidnapped (DavidM?) to write for the Big Meanie Movie Message Board (sorry, it's been so long I can't remember the proper name of the baddies' organization).

I have to confess that my muse's immediate idea was to write the whole scenario where we "crash" through Choirs, no stopping, no collecting $200, nothing, but straight out the other side into the Green Dragon. We can have a bit of fun here with Arthurian and Celtic stuff, to be sure, before we make the next "break" into the Pony.

From there, I don't know. If the Mods agree to let the thread exist for a time in the forum where the action is taking place, then we should probably linger in the Pony the longest, but get through the rest of the forums more quickly, so we don't disrupt them.

Or, it may be in our best interests that once the thread is moved to the Pony, it stays there and we will just "write" the moves through the other forums.

Okay, how bad of a hash stew did I just make of that? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Bardy?
