Rainfield... I was wondering. Are arena fighters strictly male, or are females also accepted? Also, are weapons allowed, or is it strictly fist to fist?

Because the character I have in mind, as a rough sketch, is a girl from an upper class household, who ended up there because her brother was part of a resistance movement, although he was in one of the 'city' groups, so he probably wouldn't know Ruwie, and when she saw her family getting beat up by a bunch of guards, she snapped, and retaliated. In the process, she killed some commander's youngest son, and so she got dragged here, kicking and protesting all the way.

If this background sounds all right, I'll begin posting as her. :)

Bit of a side story that might be expanded upon later.

I still have to post Lynn's part, I'll edit it in when I find some time early on in the week. She might go to the arena, I'm still thinking about the possibilities though.

Arena fighters may be female, so yes your char. would work Tobias. :)

I might do one more post before the first fight, or I might throw everything into one big one... Not sure yet, but i'll try and get something up soon.

I've gotta admit that i have little to no drive for continuing this thing right now...

I don't wanna abandon it... but i've just got no drive, and to little of time. You guys wanna take a break for a while?

I plan to at least stay on the site for whenever, so maybe in a couple of months we could try and revive it?

I can't say I didn't see something like this coming. But I understand and agree with you, Rainfield.

Its getting harder and harder to get into character, I think having played Lynn and Alec so long, a break will help. I'll be here and be glad to start it back up again later. It's been fun, especially since we've gotten so far.

Oddly, this reminds me of a line in Seinfeld "It's not you...it's me."

Alright cool... So it's agreed!

We'll take a break, and i'll try and bring it back up in the middle of january.

Does that sound find with everyone else.

(if everyone already left then... January it IS!)

Quick Note:
If we don't end up picking this back up... Let me just say that this has been a BLAST RP'ing with you guys. Especially you Nar. we've been at this from the beginning and I can't tell you (and everyone else) how much fun i've had rp'ing with everybody involved at some point or another, on (in my mind) the best green dragon thread out there!

Why thank you Rainfield, the feeling is mutual. I have loved every post and every poster that made this story what it is. To and From will always be one of my favorite threads.

I will hopefully see all of you in January for a revival. Have a great time relaxing, happy holidays, and a wonderful New Year.

Hehehe :D Back from dead :P As I see "old players" are best players - almost same people as in awsome To and From I. Pleasure reading as always :] If you ever need Grenelf or some other character I think I can go on. Nice to see you all are still alive :] See you soon

I'm thinking that i'm going to make the return post be the first big Arena battle with Ruwie, Ahren and the guys in the collesium.

Here's scoop on my upcoming schedule. This week i'll be moving out of the only house i've ever lived in to go off to school. So this weekend will be hectic for me.

Depending on when my new comp arrives, and how easy it will be to get the internet all hooked up will determine when i can really settle in and get back into the old ways.

I'll try and make the big return post before i leave on thursday.

Cheers!
Here's to hoping i'll be up and running by the end of this weekend!

Pretty good Nar, u?

I've just been really bored lately and i thought i'd get on and see what everyone was up too. I've also j been doin sketches of the chars. lately, and the other day i did sketches of the old TaF characters, made me want to get back on and read through it some.

Have you been in any RP's lately? i pretty much stopped when this kinda ran out.

I'm great!

I've only been on the boards once or twice since TAF died down. Any other RP seemed to pale in comparison to this one.

When are you ever going to scan these pictures and show them off? Its no fair keeping them all to yourself. :)

ahh i don't know, sometime i'll get a hold of a scanner.

And your right all the other rp's have totally paled in comparison lol.

I dunno i think what i liked so much about this rp was the dynamic characters that we all came up with, and the way the story aloud us to shift setting and situations. That way we didn't get as bored easily.

I liked how there wasn't ten or so people trying to move a story along. It just gets too confusing with so many rp-ers.

And I definitely get bored easily so the constant shift in scenery definitely helped.

Those were good times.

In my creative writing class we have to do short stories and such, and i might write like something about this...

I'll definitly have to tweak certain things here and there, take out characters that really served no purpose. But i think it could be cool, and if i do it, i'll post it on here to let you read it.

I'll keep the same plotline of course and all the key characters...
Ruwie
Lynn
Gabriel
Cudgel
and Alec
(I think that little group was probably the best mix of chars. that we could've done... Those five worked REALLY well together in terms of personality)

But i might change a few things, i dunno... i'm just kinda brain storming at the moment. I'll let you know if i intend to do anything
