Hi! Skuld mentioned this thread to me in the dark alliance guild/alliance thread. This sounds like a really great story. Is Diov still around TORC?

It seems likely that at least some of the posters who wrote here originally may not still be on TORC, so, maybe it would help if everyone who WAS still here, and who wanted to be in this role play, could post just a REALLY short "I'm here and want to be in it" post. And then someone could get it started??????? Or is it that there just aren't enough people interested????? It seemed like from looking in the "ancients" guild thread that there are at least a few people interested.

Excuse me my eagerness, but I'm really anxious to try some of this role playing stuff. I would be happy to take one of the "bad guy" roles - like Loki or whoever.

Just a thought.

Ahem, well, you see, Diov, is, well, um, me.

Right Skuld = Diov a few months in the future. When I first came back I wasn't going to tell people that, but now I just don't care. Do yeah, Diov is here is a weird sort of way. But I will be playing Skuld and not Melingard. So just forget all that

Ok, moving on then.

Freaky, if you would like to play one of the "bad guys" that would be cool. The two BIG roles on that side would be Loki and Hel, everyone else is just sort of a minion and can be NPCs.

Nawyn- please go ahead and play Sigrun.

And from there I'll play Skuldhild, and the Norns (the narrorator types). If we want to lay out the storyline a little more definately, and then start with the three of us, that would be fine by me.

I was just thinking - should we each play a few characters (like maybe Rain in the IC thread, for example) if we start with just the three of us? We don't have to - obviously we can work other characters into our posts without having to play them - but it might be interesting to play a few different viewpoints. Just a thought, though, if you guys don't like it, we don't have to do it.

Should we just pick it up from where the IC thread left off, then?

Yeah, we can play more than one character if we want. I thought about posting a post that would say to disregard all but the first post that Diov had put up because there is no one to play them. I know that none of them are ones that I want to use. If you want to pick them up go for it though.

I am going to play Skuldhild (profile), Odin, and the Norns (as narrators).

As for what you guys want to play?
Just let me know.

Okay, then... Would it be okay if I played both Sigrun and Helgi, her husband? (He was a mortal warrior who was killed by Sigrun's brother Dag, and he was incredibly brave and strong and all and was taken to Valhalla.) So that would get the warrior's perspective in there. Is that okay?

I'm going to brush up my knowledge of Loki and Hel and see what I can come up with. I'll try to get something up tomorrow.

Also, I met some really nice people in the Talk Forum who have a mythology thread going and they just happen to be Finnish so they know a lot about their own mythology and I'm trying to see if they would be interested in RPing here, if that's OK.
Do I have to post something in the alliance (ancients) thread in order to be in this RP?

Name: Oren Red-brow
Race: Fallen Warrior
Age: 33
Status: Deceased--obviously. He can't be "fallen" in many other obvious ways.
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 212 lbs
Hair: Falls in a mass of tangling red braids around his head and tumbling along to fall to his shoulder-blades. It's a mix of red and blond hues.
Eyes: Gray-green-blue.
Facial Appearance: Wears a red beard and mustache, not long, but covering his entire jawline and up to his cheekbones.
Build: Very muscular and enduring, as would be relative to his weight. He isn't fast, but his muscles can propel himself to be of average speed.
Weapons: Oren wields a great two-handed broadsword which is either always in his hand or strapped to his side.

I still have some research to do. I'm average in knowledge of Norse mythology, but it has been a while.

I'm really interested in this thread... and I'm brushing up on my Norse mythology too... Can't Fenrir exist here or would it be a little... self defeating? Or never mind.

If ever I am to be allowed may I have Luingard? What kind of character are you in need of maybe that would help me think up a personality and stuff. And what do you mean by job?

BTW, I thought really hard and since Melingard is German, blonde and with blue eyes, I thought her prototupe would be Angela Gossow. She is the best female singer in metal music, well for me, and she is German and she is my vision of Melingard.

Will post bio later, really, it's just Norse Mythology is quite new for me, and I want her story be bound to it.
