You'll be happy to hear that I have a post done!

Except for one bit. I have a couple of stupid questions.

1. That was not Calet or its outskirts we reached, right, that was just a small nameless town on the way there?

2. Which direction exactly are we travelling in if we want to 'accidentally' :P meet Aiwe's gang?

3. How much money would our mercenaries expect for a job? I hate having to write about money, I can never figure out how much things should cost... Pointy, Foolish, does either of you have an idea of what the average good offer for escorting the merchant to Calet might be? I can work around it if not. ;)

Right. I'll post it as soon as I get an answer, failing that, tomorrow or Tuesday, and then if need be I'll edit.

1. Yep it's just a little town.

2. I have no idea!! Hmmm

3. Umm and again I am of no help!! Sorry. This post was of no relevance but it was so much more fun than my history coursework!!

Um, it's Aiwe's fault. She fed my muse chocolate, remember? And it did seem like a good idea. Besides, there's a sneaksy scene and a chase scene!

We can always have another chase scene down the road. Surely there's checkpoints, eh? Now this would be a perfect time for EW to jump in and suggest someplace to go! Or Undomiel - whoever gets it first! :D

As for meeting up with the unholy trinity (:P), I'll leave that up to whoever posts next. Somehow I don't think we're going to Calet, though, since Voke was already run out of there once.

Great posts everyone. Just letting you know that I'm still here and reading, even if I can't write. :(

. . . Elti, you wrote Aiwe in the IC, but her character is Voke. ;)

Ooopsie! That'll never do. Fixed it. Blame the hyper muse.

Willow, you could do like we're doing, and just write for EW's character a bit... Or pester her with emails! :D I would like to know what's happening to Caedmon. And since you're in the same woods as the dangerous trio soon will be, there's got to be something you can come up with.

I did email her, and she said she was going to do something, but she hasn't yet. And I don't want to get annoying. :(

Edit: Nevermind, I got a hold of her again, and I'm going :D :happydance:

Fine with the little town then, and so it fixes nr. 2 as well because I'll just have us head on to Calet. I talked to Foolish and am fixing a minor problem in what I wrote, and I will post the post this evening. :)

Lovely posts, Ro and Willow! :D I hope EW comes back soon. It's so nice to have this moving.

I really should be working on my three papers due next week, but this is so much more fun to read...

Ah that situation sounds rather familiar!!

I have the joy of sitting for 4 hours in exam conditions next week after this and writing a lovely essay on continuity between Lenin and Stalin. Oh how joyous.

EDIT: I am writing. It is just going slowly. Sorry :cry2:

Well there we go. I don't know if it was any good though Ro.

I wasn't sure whether there were to be other people in the caravan so I left it open so I can edit if so. Oh and I wasn't sure how the mercenaries would be acting on the road so I just assumed they would scout ahead, and bring up the rear, again I will happily edit.

oh will you look at that its 1am. Crawls off to find the cat and go to sleep.

Don't know if it was any good? Sheesh, Pointy, it was a great post! Balanced, subtle. Got us on the road. I especially liked how you used what Garia said to make Cadell think something of Pointy that isn't too forced or too ludicrous, but tells us, the readers who know more, important things about her character. I really like that. You're not forcing us to see Pointy in a certain light, you just make it natural that we notice things about her, because they are noticeable.

Yay for you. Foolish, you want to go next? It seems like Cadell has a lot to do recently. :D :P

Thank you very much! Completely made my day, (hurray for sleep deprivation!)! I love working with the subtext so I'm glad you liked it. :D

Working with the subtext- is that what it's called? I'll file that away in my brain for future use.

And now I will relax and wait for Fool's post. 8)

Well that's what its called in theatre with a play or book so I presume it is the same for a role play. hmm. It sounds good anyway!!

May I join you in relaxing?

Glances at the relaxed forms of Ro and Pointy.

Alright you lazy lay-abouts, get up :P No more waiting because it's done. Now it's my turn.

Flops down onto a beanbag and takes a handful of potato chips.

Oh, great.

Before I go read your monster, Foolish, I have to mention that we had Kiwi cinema in film history class today. "Scarfies". It was...interesting. :| It was tumeke to hear your accent though. :happydance: :happydance: :happydance:

Edit: Yay, good post! I think, although technically it's my turn, this gives more of an opening for Pointy. But I can also take it and give a third person perspective of your...hmm... honeymoon. :P

It's up to you, Pointy. I'll be writing a bit of something neutral in any case, that should fit in whether you take the next post or not. Let us know!

tumeke
Hmmm what is that?

Great post O Foolish One!!

Ummm hmmm. Ahhh *blushes*.

Could I take the next one please then? I will only write a short one I'm afraid and then prehaps you could carry it on in the Garia/ neutral stance.
I have a load of work to do next week so it would be good in that way too if you took the one after this.

I will try and get it up tonight if that is alright?

Scarfies huh? LOL! yes that is an....interesting choice. At least they didn't pick Savage Honeymoon. *snorts* I recommend Snakeskin to you  And if they can get hold of it Two Cars, One Night. It's a short film :D

Pointy, please do take the next one :D And 'tumeke' is the maori way to say 'fantastic' One of the few words I actually learnt back when it was taught...Looking forward to the post!

Nearly done!!!

Am watching the votes come in. My first ever vote and the party I voted for are 5 constituencies down.

Ahhh Maori. What would I do for my culture. *Puts on a horrendously English accent and runs around with Tea and scones*

Hmm I suppose it would be more "OOO ARRR I got a bran' new combine 'arvester.

But, man, why did you have to rush like that? Now I have to write, and I was just starting to relax. *grumble*

;) I didn't even start to write anything by the way so.

Am reading.

...

AM LAUGHING. HA! Good one.

Am reading further.

Bravo.

Now I suppose I should give you an account of the night's watch?

I must try and shake all those sailor movies I've been watching out of my head first.

*turns off engine and retreats quietly behind a haystack with some of the Fool's potato chips* Ooooh Arrrrr

Lol, I'm so sorry Ro dear, but I decided if I wrote it last night I could then spent my time memoriseing my 3300 word essay. Oh yay how I look forward to it.
