LOL! That sounds like my kinda way of working :P

Awie, bravo! I love the clipped way you have Seelo speak :D 'tis wonderfully refreshing! I'm looking forward to your next piece. Will Voke bump into the well-covered Elti at the Silver Dragon I wonder?

Thanks, Façade. :D I'm trying to create a truly different kind of familiar with Seelo. We'll see how he works out. ;)

Alright I've got a short post up and I'm working on more. I'm planning on doing the council session myself, but if anyone wants to contribute then feel free. :)

hmm Façade the muse has grabbed me violently around the neck and shaken me, I shall make a post soon and do some waking up. Did Cadell and Garia remove Pointy's weapons or does she still have them?

oh I'm loving all these characters!! Voke seems rather interesting. :)

*grins at Pointy and rubs his hands together* Sounds magnificent. Pointy's bow is strapped to Garia's saddle, and her dagger was, I believe, taken from it's sheath to show Garia, but afterwards returned to it's rightful place  Cadell would so hate to be called a thief. Why do I get the faintest of feelings that he'll probably regret returning it afterall? =:)

Will read up on the new RP post later. I'm in a hurry this morning :D

*gives an evil plan laugh to go with Facade's hand rubbing*
Well maybe a little regret, but not a lot

Ok the next post is up!
Sorry its rather random and i didn't progress much, I got stuck and didn't know how to continue. :|

Me too.

Pointy, grand post! :D You did my boy perfectly and I think Fool will be pleased as well.

Now where's my inspiration? We might have to wait until next year.... ;)

Awie, if that first post is anything to go by I should think he will work out just fine

undomiel, wonderful post. Ah, it's grand to be part of such an active RP :D

Pointy, I am pleased indeed :D :D You have the essence of Cadell's character down perfectly! And I wouldn't worry about how it finished. It seems a fine way to end the day :)

Now...I must restrain myself from posting before Rodia :P If it's inspiration you're wanting my doppelganger dear, perhaps you could have Garia talk over their new "situation"

Thanks ;)

Eltirwen, that's a cue you can take or leave, whichever you prefer. I'd like Voke to start learning about the Council, the Jewels, and so forth, and it'd be great if she could talk to some Mages. ;)

Oooh! I'm definitely going to take that one! I already had the beginning of a post bouncing around in my brain, and now you've given me somewhere to take it... Mind if Odunar catches Voke in the hallway? *rubs hands delightedly* This could get interesting.

Master Hue, I was talking to the lovely lady Lurea on IM the other day, and she entreated me to inquire when your always-welcome presence would return to Hunt for the Bride. Writers for all of the storylines except yours have been active lately, so she was hoping you could return and help move that along.

Oh, this is so much fun! :D

Sounds great, Eltirwen. ;) Can't wait to see what you do with it! :D

One thing to remember (this might or might not be useful in your post) Seelo has a reputation for disappearing to observe events. ;)

Cheers guys, you brightened my otherwise dark day!
Glad I got the essence of your characters right.

Tag! :P Hope you like it. So, what is Voke going to do with a strange gentleman in her room, asking all sorts of questions?

I realized I probably needed to describe Eltirwen more than as a blob under blue robes. Better?

Well, there's my first post! It's short, and mostly dialogue, but it brings us back around to a nice place for Pointy or Facade to continue.

I hope that was all right. I feel more than slightly intimidated by the amount of talent in this thread.

:)

However that doesn't mean you should refrain from pointing out possible mistakes. :P

You needn't be nervous Rodia, that was an excellent post. :)

Any ideas where you three are geographically speaking? Caedmon will need to join up with someone sometime, and I'm trying to figure out what the best possibility would be. :D

Facade, didn't you have some ideas/plans for the next post?

LOL Pointy...that's a nice way of saying "Great, now I have to think up the rest, thanks a lot!"

The_pointy_hat_trick wrote:Facade, didn't you have some ideas/plans for the next post?

And this is an even nicer way of saying "Actually, maybe I don't."

;) Seriously though, I love this RP already- mostly because of how people are taking the time to talk in the OOC and adjust to the story and the other characters. I'm also impressed by the variety- we have, what, close to ten characters now? And none of them even remotely alike, many with fascinating, original backgrounds. This is going to be a good play. :)

(if I manage not to ruin it of course. :P ;) )

Oooh, Aiwe! Fun! I like what you did with my characters. Hmm... what to do? Onu definitely won't like Seelo, but Odunar is a sucker for hard-luck cases - guess he's going to want to ask more questions. :angeldevil:

I promise, Eltirwen's my main character. She'll come into her own after leaving Brahna, and Odunar, behind. She just has to learn to rely on herself. Right now, I'm just having way too much fun! *runs off to write post*

Rodia LMAO, tehehe, well thats one way it could be interperated.
I was thinking that I've done two posts so I didn't want to seem greedy!

Yeah, we do have a real variety of characters which is cool else things could go stagnent! :| Wouldn't the world be boring if we were all the same?

It seems to be progressing nicely.

oh and I'm sure you won't ruin it, that would more likely be me!

*scrambles back into the OOC looking a little the worse for wear*

I'm back! I survived a game of Trivial Pursuit! I never want to see gin, vodka or cigarettes again... :P

Rodia, I don't know what on earth you worry about. You are magnificent! Bravo my ever-talented friend! Pointy I would like to take the next post if that's alright with you. I have a free day tomorrow as work is still closed for the New Years period :D

I'd like to say I have ideas, but I didn't sleep more than...2 hours last night so I'm a liiiiiiiiiiiiittle braindead  But, I will probably have many by the time I awake in the morning. So, till then :D

Let's start with the fact that I accidentally wrote the post seemingly from Cadell's perspective instead of Garia's.
