IMBY! You're back! :D *is happy* lol Yes, you were missed. Hopefully you can find some breaks in your busy life and catch your breath.

Nim- Hi! :) Well, this week being Spring Break my life will slow down a little, but I've still managed to fill up my schedule pretty full. lol From my experience, college has been fun, though like everything it has its pros and cons. But overall it's been good.

:( I still have two weeks until my Spring Break. :( This week was nice, though. Monday through Thursday I didn't start school until 12:45! The Freshman and Sophomores had some testing to do, so the rest of us didn't have to come! It was quite nice. However, I am extremely tired today because I've been getting up later than usual, so I couldn't fall asleep last night.

Guess what: I got a laptop! My dad was going to buy me one when I graduated, but I got it now instead. He was buying one for work, but after he ordered it, his boss decided that he wanted a different one, so my dad let me have this one. It's really cool! It's widescreen, which is cool, but a little annoying because everything is smaller and there's a lot of empty space. But I'm not complaining! :D

Adieu!

Imby- Hey, congrats on your new laptop! That's awesome. lol Good to hear you're enjoying it.

*tries not to think about the 3 tests he has on Friday*
*decides he should probably go study*

Hope you all are having a good week!

SPRING BREAK! Finally! I'm not having that much fun, though. I just got a dental implant put in yesterday, and I'm tired. I'm taking a million different drugs. It's quite annoying. Other than that, I'm doing good.
How is everyone else? :)

No, that was just my internet connection. But thanks anyway, Toby. ;)

I'm down to one drug now! But there's a lot left and it's getting on my nerves. I don't even like taking vitamins!

No not too bad, of course the needles into the gums for the initial painkiller hurt but I got plenty of strong painkillers, so it was just a dull throbbing occasionally. It was freaky cause you can hear your teeth cracking and breaking as they dig em out. <shudder>

I wouldn't have minded so much but this occured right before my ship went on deployment, so most of my last few weeks to get decent food were shot, I was stuck eating soup and milkshakes. :x

heres what the convo went like....

(I am in getting the required dental exam prior to the ship leaving)

the Navy dentist as hes poking around: "Oh"
me: "MHMH" (translation..."what?")
doc: you have all your wisdom teeth.
me: "MHMH" (translation..."yes")
doc: "do they hurt? are they giving you any trouble?"
me: "MHMH" (translation..."no")
doc: "oh...well they got to come out"
me:"MHMH" (translation..."why?")
doc: "they just do, its policy"
me: "MHMH" (translation..."thats the most ignorant thing ive ever heard in my life")
doc: "wait here while i set up a table, we'll do it right now"
me: "stupid %$^# dentists" (translation..."stupid %$^# dentists")

5 minutes later they were shooting me up.

Wow. I don't feel so bad anymore. At least I get some warning! *shudder* Not that I'm looking forward to it.
I really don't see the point in taking them out. Mine don't bother me! :x Alas, I have no choice... :|

I have to get all of my wisdom teeth pulled in the summer, they say that my mouth is too small for them to fit.

I'm doing good, I went to a White Sox game on Wednesday! My friend gave me free tickets. :D We lost, but it was still fun and we got these free miniature World Series trophy replicas, which was cool.

Hello, wise and able adopters. :)

I have a question that I could not seem to find a clear answer for in the TOS and the other guideline threads, namely, is it permitted to have a link by my signature pic to a chess site that I belong to?

My hunch tells me it would not be a problem but I thought I had better ask first...

Thanks in advance for any help.

Links to other sites are permitted as long as the site being linked to is not a site whos purpose is to sell stuff and is TOS friendly.

A link to another MB should be fine. :)

Hello Engwafea! Nice to meet you. I'm the resident Adopter here, so I can answer any questions you may have. :D

Hey dudes! How's life? I never seem to come in here anymore! It's quite sad. :(
Toby, you should probably take over since I'm never here anymore.

 Okay, that one I've never heard. Your mouth is too small?!? Or are the teeth just too big? What's the point of wisom teeth anyway? If we don't need them, why are they there?!?!?!?!? :x grr... This is getting me all riled up...

Anyhoo, have to finish writing my essay on As I Lay Dying. Fun stuff. Anyone read it?

Adieu!
