PCE Thread of Denial-6

Postby rwhen » Tue May 12, 2009 6:51 am

Okay this is our sixth version of the PCE thread, remember to not let your PCE slips show and also remember the reason we are here:

(from the original thread)

You know it, you don't admit it, but you know it.

Now is the time to come on out of that little envious emerald closet that you live in and tell the whole world. People have been wondering why you walk about with that greenish cast eminating from your aura.

If you look at your checkbook, all those thousands and thousands of dollars on therapy to get over it, just hasn't helped one bit and hey you could have gone to every moot on the planet for that money.

The personalized license plate "HONK4PCE" is just pathetic.

Oh and the tell tell sign? "Please pity my low post count. I try so hard."

Listen, it takes effort, loss of family, sleep, job and sanity to get that ring(or double ring). If you are not up to the task then at least admit it. You are totally screamin' green with envy at those who do.

Oh and yeah, all you "ringers"? BACK OFF BOOGALOO. We see you, all bright and shiny, showin' off to the world. "Look at me, look at me." Pffffft. As if we had any other choice.

Well here is your chance. It is easy and I will help you along.

Just step up to the mic, take it with confidence, say your name and state your problem.

"Hello, my name is Rwhen and I have POST COUNT ENVY."

This attempt at humor is not directed to anyone high or low, big or small - tall or short, this additive is for political correctness even though I know you ALL suffer this affliction!

And a happy Tuesday to all those who are suffering. :D

 YAY Tookish posted first to the thread, absolutely affirming that she does NOT have PCE at all, but is instead a supportive sympathizer. :D

:hihi:

Sil, that is really cool that you are drawing the piccie for BTG!! :D

Today it is raining and heavily overcast, but not too chilly in the Pacific Northwest. How about your piece of real estate?

:lmbo: Good catch Rose friend. :D

I am trying to get the brother out of the door, he has an 8:00am appointment in Portland downtown and the traffic over the bridge during rush hour can delay one quite a bit. But at least he will be GONE. :P :D

Rose--Actually I don't, but I'm sure if I think about it long enough, I'll figure it out. :D Edit: Oh, de-Nile, yes, I remember now! :P

I haven't got milk. Well, I do, but it's in the fridge, which is a looong walk from the couch. I mean, it's gotta be 20 feet!

Cleopatra, da queen of de-Nile. :D Always loved that. Something that we all suffer from on the PCE I should think. ;) :P

I got MILK and it is from our local dairies right here in WASHINGTON state.

WISCONSIN may make some pretty good cheese which takes great milk, but nothing like homegrown local dairy milk. *gurgles with glee*

LOVES MY MILK.

That Pam Tillis song is a riot, older song, but I sure do remember it when it came out. :D

Rowan I am with you. This week can't go by fast enough for me. I need some serious down time, like a week of. I know I won't get that, but I am going to be taking a long weekend here pretty soon. Boss already told me to go ahead and do it.

I lurves good milk. :D Usually I like to eat something with it though...like sweet stuffs. <_< Goes so good.

As for cheese, I bough a cube of cheese on the way home from my brother's in Milwaukee. It's called Chipotle Jack, and it was amazing.  I love cheese so much. I guess it's good that I don't live there, because I would be a true cheesehead.

Chipolte jack ... yummy.. I love garden jack and Chipotle cheddar and .. oh.. the farmers market here has a TON of yummy, yummy cheese.

I know local milk is good.. I just don't like the 'Good milk comes from Happy cows' California milk commercials they play on T.V. HERE in the DAIRY state! :lightening: (how dare they!)

Ooooh.. I wants to see Drieske's pictures! Where is they?

Oh Rose and I was TOTALLY poking fun at you. I do love milk and we do have great local dairies here, but hey....I am not from a dairy community, you are from a STATE of dairy, famous for dairy. I have seen plenty of those "happy cow" commercials from CA. And I will PM you Drieske's photos. Can you read Dutch?

Frelga, you are ever welcome on the PCE anytime. And you will get that ship, it WILL happen. :happydance: then we will :drink: party. And help you get there to, with fine intelligent, full content posting. Quality that is what I say, over quantity.

*watches nose grow* :D

HI ELFY. How are you girlfriend? I bet you are rounding out the school year. Any plans for the summer??? (other than maybe a visit to our dear Rose lady?) Why not come on out west? We would take care of you JUST fine and dandy. :D

Edited:

Rose friend, I emailed you the link to the pics. Rather than PM. So check your email. :D

Thank you muchly Lady rwhen.

I am hoping the elf-maiden & I can meet up sometime this summer. That would be nice. Rose (my daughter) would love to meet her!

I know you were teasing about the milk thing.. but those California cow commercials are pretty insulting here on Wisconsin TV.

I loved, loved, LOVED  Drieske's photos! What an attractive couple too! As far as reading Dutch goes, here's a nice on-line translator. It's not perfect, but it helps!

Yuppers, I got your mail back too. Glad you liked them. She is so pretty and her Vman is handsome. :D And Belgium. *swoonthud*

I hope you DO get up with Elfy this summer.

I would think that those commercials are offensive. It is like asking a person in Peru if the aliens built Machu Picchu.

Don't know if you have read or not, but it appears that LM IS going to be coming to Canada at the end of the month. Maybe we will get a siting here in the PNW. :D Good decision all the way around.

I'm good! :D I actually officially finished Thursday afternoon, and my brother flew up and helped me move out. Friday we went up to my brother's, had a good time, and made the 7 hour drive home Sunday night. My plans for the summer are to get a job. There will be a mini-m00t in July, which I am greatly looking forward too, as well as my grandparent's 50th. I would like to take a photography class, but I don't know if there will be enough time.

Of course I would love to meet Rose and Rose (the daughter) sometime this summer, since my last trip in that direction didn't work out. And of course I would love to come out West. I just don't see it happening soon. :(

Mornin' to all on the flagship PCE. HEAVE TO!! (whatever that means)

Rose, I am not Lewie, but I think it is showing that life would be Absolut (better) if Mexico had all that land back from the States again. *shrugs* But he will most likely have a better answer than I. I think your cows should start their own ad campaign. :D

Elfy. Hope you get a job for the summer AND get to moot up as well. Meeting Rose again would be a treat, one that I hope to do very soon myself. :D Not again, but well, okay you know what I mean.

It's more a joke then anything, it was an ad that got a lot of people all up in arms.........about an ad........for vodka. In an absolut world...........Mexico would have won the Mexican-American war. TBH honest the map would be even better if it included The Republic of Texas and the Republic of California (hey, it existed for about a month.......) :D

OK Lewie.. I got that for the golden brown part.. but then.. what is the green part? And then why would they not want Canada too? Or Central & South America?

I know, I know.. I am kind of joking/being silly.. I just think it's kind of a strange ad. Ads that are trying to sell something don't usually try to pizz people off.

That is the part that would be Mexico today had they won the war. At least that is how I see that map.

Lewie, I can imagine that people get their knickers in a bunch over it, even if it is a joke, satire, parody. It happens.

Those were roughly the borders of Mexico at independence.
