Inny, the buttcrack of dawn??? That's mighty early. Hope Lil Evil has a great day.

You are totally evil, little Miss.
Hilariously funny, but evil...

Well, the assistant annoys me, so why shouldn't I? :P

Well, nl, you know what they say...

"Revenge is a dish best served cold." :evilaugh:

I hope she sputtered and hissed while she straightened the files.
Well, I'm a bit of a witch m'self, y'know.

Oh, btw, the dishwasher is up and running just fine. Repair showed up 20 minutes before 8 and was finished before 9. :yippie:

Calma, that's great news the dishwasher was fixed so fast! Yah! No more paper plates or washing by hand.

I just put the folders in the rack any old way I like, since I do the bulk of the scheduling. Doesn't worry me as long as I can find the one I want. The assistant is currently mumbling to herself about something and straightening pages. May have to put my headphones on shortly to tune her out.

2 weeks til I go on leave!!!!! Shame it's only a week but she couldn't cope with me being gone longer as she won't do anymore of the work. And I don't want some poor guy from another channel having to do too much of my stuff. He has enough of his own stuff to do.

I remember when Saro's little one was born. Wasn't here for Inny's evil one!

Huzzah! for Calma's repair crew . . . don't you just love it when a plan actually comes together? :D

It was a more reasonable temperature today, only plus 22C, which is still about 5 degrees above our seasonal norm, but that's okay. I came home to find the hubby unit had moved ALL the furniture back into the living room from the Dining room all by his lonesome, bless his manly little heart. Of course, as soon as he went off to his buddy's this evening, I re-arranged it all.  What?! :P

Happy birthday to the TORC baby. I'm too n00b to remember, but I intend to hang around until TORC babies start entering college.

nl, a word from someone with a really annoying co-worker (Seriously, what grown-up shows up at someone else's desk to ask a question while chewing a Sneaker bar with unpleasant noises? Couldn't he finished it before he came to talk to me?) - it's all too easy to let that one person to define your whole work life. It's not worth it. (Ok, that's three words again) Glad your leave is coming up, you sure need it!

We got spared a heat wave. The forecast promised 90s, but we barely got into 70s. My son was not amused at being sent to school in t-shirt and shorts into what turned out to be a foggy, chilly morning. "Mom! I was freezing!"

Inny, congrats! I don't understand this obsession with Hannah Montana. My little cousins are the same: lunchbags, cups, backpacks, napkins, video games, EVERYTHING is Hannah Montana.

I wonder when we'll have the first real TORC baby. One that is born from both TORC parents. and excuse my n00biness if this has already happened

Well, we had a number of TORC marriages, but I can't think of one that produced a baby yet. Unless... Is Berhael's husband a TORCer, anyone know?

If anyone knows the answer to this question it would most certainly be Lady rwhen.. she just KNOWS all of this stuff. Me.. I have a memory like a sieve. :(

Hannah Montana? I can't stand her.. IF there is a worse role model for young girls.. it's Brittany Spears. How either one of them are considered marketable to young girls is beyond me. *shrugs*

Frelga! You are almost there!!!! Post!!! or is this a new kinda torture? I think I did the same thing when I approached my 5000th. :D

Yes, I shouldn't let her get to me. It's not healthy. I saw my doctor and he has increased my meds to 50mg (from 35mg) just to help me cope, else I'd be a gibbering idiot on the floor over there in the corner. I just have to keep reminding my own slef that it's not for too much longer. Sorry your co-worker chews Sneaker (what are they) bars whilst tlaking. That's just rude and nasty...ewwww.

I thin Berhael's hub may be a torcer. There probably are Torc babies around somewhere. Oh, that reminds me that it must be a year or so since the lovely Alys and fabulous Angel got married in bonny Scotland.

ROFL, yes, Snickers, not sneakers. Although with this dude, I would not be surprised. He's the guy who sticks his fingers into his mouth past the second knuckle to pick his teeth in the meetings. It's all I can do to keep my mommy instincts in check and not slap his hand. One good thing, it cured me from biting my own nails, mostly, because I just can't bear being like him.

OK, one more post... where should I make it?

Didn't Sauron's Nagging Wife and Finrod the Faithful have a son? I remember that SNW had a very difficult pregnancy...

But, that happened long before Eru joined, and neither of the parents have been around for a long time. SNW made an appearance in MoME a couple of years ago, but I don't remember when I last saw Finrod around.

Elladan_Elfhelm and his wife were both TORC-er's and have two kids. However, they did not meet on TORC, so I guess that doesn't count.

Frelga, I'm with you...I joined too late to remember Inny's excitement (though I heard about it later.) *sigh* Guess we just have to enjoy vicerally!

OH MY GOSH!!! That is the funniest thing I've heard in a looong while! Made me laugh aloud. Sauron's Nagging wife and Finrod the Faithful.... Sauron's wife wasn't too faithful if she had a son with Finrod... and didn't Finrod have a wife of his own?? (I am just playing around with the names here) ;)

CONGRATS FRELGA!!!

Wenchie... enjoy time with your son! I know I love it when my daughter comes home.. even if we do nothing special.. just having her here is so nice. She made a great transition to college, but she lost 10 pounds in the first 3 weeks!

Rose, I was thinking the very same thing . . . then I remembered meeting SNW in Toronto and well, I guess reality set in. I've never met Finrod though . . .

I guess we'll have to see if Alys/The_Angel, or Luthy/TS come through for us. And then there's heliona/wilko, but I think we might be rushing them a bit . . . :P =:) I'm not sure if Crispycreme and Arwen740 have any little ones, I think they may have been TORC's first "official" couple, but I could be wrong there too. Y'know, they say the memory is the first thing to go . . . ;)

I hope you and your son have a wonderful visit, Wenchie. I'll bet he has a thousand new things to tell you . . . all of them good too. ;)

Dubs, how are you, your own fine self? :)

And Frelgalicious has been MARINATED!! HUZZAH!!! Image Cake and libations all around! :drink:

Pets definitely are a lot like toddlers. Especially cats. :P

That thing about China following you to the toilet so reminds me of when my older one had learned to crawl. The only way to get to the toilet was to make it a hide-and-seek game; I left her on the living room floor and left the toilet door ajar when I went there. I had just enough time to pee before she peeked in, with a smile that said "Found you!"

TGIF, once again. I got so frustrated at work today. There are some things that haven't been thought out very well.

Yes, my cats like to follow me into the toilet too...one cat i used to have would actually jump up and lie on your lap while you were sitting on the toilet  That was always awkward to explain to house guests when she tried to do it to them too  Bruce's mother ended up putting a lock on the door to stop the cat when she stayed with us for a while :D:D
