So we all know that the REAL Torc time is PST, but for those of you that disagree, tell us what time it is where you are, and what you're doing.

Kind of like the Torc version of twitter.

19:44, enjoy the new digs!

It's 8:48pm and I am sore. My upper back hurts because it's messed up and I am stresses out, and my shoulders ad arms hurt thanks to the pushups I did in the class on Monday. Ouch.

But yay, I got on the first page!

It is 10:44pm PST.

Yes I am in black but only for tonight. I get paid tomorrow and will be reactivating my PM then. :D

Today was a great day!! I got my insurance - medical, dental and vision insurance at work today. Goes into effect on the 1st of December. I also have another life insurance policy as long as I work there too. It will save us over $100 a month by having insurance for myself at work now.

Thanks for starting the new thread Eru darlin!!

Thanks, CR!

Eru, yeah, I got a rotated verterbra in my upper back and it tends to pull muscles on one side if I am not careful. Thanks, and :yippie: for the Pratchett reference.

Vana, having insurance brings such peace of mind, doesn't it?

12:01am and I am heading for bed.

And, cheers for Vana's insurance! 8) Hope you'll never need it, though.

That was good for you, Rose! :) You're up early, though.

I'm on GMT+2 so, you can count our time difference from there. Or from that, I'm ten hours ahead of the TORC time.

And now, it's 2:53 PM, and I'm starting to pack my things soon to go home. I won't be around in the evening so, see you tomorrow (or on Monday)! :grouphug:

7:15 am PST.

Rose, on the car. Still don't know yet what is happening at the dealership. I drove my BMW home last night and back in today. Isn't it odd when you have driven another car (my Altima) for over a year and then go back to the old car? It feels really strange, like I never drove it for over five year prior to that. I hope I get good news today and that they were able to duplicate the problem. Also Brother Jim is going to put an extended warranty on the Volvo. SQUEEEEEEE.

Thanks Eru for starting the new thread. We had talking about it and I said I wouldn't do it, so good for you. :D

Vanadarlin', that rots about the landlord banging up the Honda. It happened on private property, so many times that is not really covered anyway and we are a *no fault* state too, so it may be that you would have had to use your own insurance to fix it up, but I would check into to it closely.

Lee~ posting to TORC is EVER so much more fun than working on your kitchen floor. :D And we are happy to have you here.

Frelga, I hope you feel better. Do heating pads help? Or anything?

Rowan, enjoy the dance class and probably see you on Monday.

*tosses Scribbles to the back seat and cements herself in the shotgun seat messing with the heater, radio, windshield wipers, trunk release and turn signals*

:P Yeah, I KNOW, just toss me in the trunk for that, it is open for ya. ;)

Did I miss anyone??????? CR? Have a great day at work if I don't see you here before..

Ah thank you for the welcome rwhen! I do agree that posting is ever so much more fun that pulling staples out of an old floor...but those staples must come out! (Or I'll keep hurting my feetsies in there!) What's making it worse is that I really don't want to get out of my pajamas today. Waaaah!

8:29AM and I just cottoned on that Wally's World = Walmart. Er... it is, isn't it?

Thanks, Rose and Rwhen darling. The back is easing up. I am staying home today, which should help. Yesterday was an incredibly stressful day all around, but hey, nothing bad happened (yet).

Working from home today, but must surrender the Net to hubby for his job search needs. He had a pretty good interview yesterday, I hope it works out (but, oh, is it ever so nice to have a non-working spouse).

That would work great rwhen, if I could get my behind up and away from the dagblasted computer!

edited to add-good luck to the hubby on the job search Frelga!

I regularly go to Walmart in my pajamas. Am I a member of some weird public pajama wearing Walmart shopping subculture or something?

10:40 AM CST. Tell me about the sloppy dressers at Walmart. If I see one more butt crack, I think I'm going to scream! And I can't, because then the customers would complain and I'd get in trouble. They have SUCH a chip on their shoulder. Of course, they can curse us and treat us like dirt, but we can't respond.

Frelga lady. Hope the hubby gets a job offer soon, but is he taking care of the household stuff then, while not working? And yes Walmart = Wally World. Glad the back is better AND that you get to work from home today as well.

Lee~, well. SOME jammies are totally fine for going into the outside world. But you just GOTTA see some of these photos. I don't have the emails anymore, maybe someone else kept them. It is honestly shocking what some people have been caught on camera at Walmart wearing. I am not a dress up person at all. I wear jeans and a top with white plain Keds, every single day.

CR, Sorry my friend that it is that way. I suppose the upside is having a job at all in this uncertain time on the planet, that does pay the bills for the most part, even if it is an uckie job. Trust me, working for family can really be a downer and you also can't say things back to the brother, when he is the boss too. There are MANY days that I wished I just had a regular job. *nods*

11:28 CST. You're right, Rwhen, I'm thankful to have a job at all. Going through two periods of unemployment, and thirteen years of working at a nightmare job where I was verbally and emotinally abused, Walmart seems like paradise. At least the management treats me decently.

Tooks, I just LOVE that bird!

10:35AM And the maintenance guy from BestBuy showed up to look at our washer. On the upside, hubby found that he bought extended warranty, so we are going to get this fixed. On the downside, the guy showed up alone, even though hubby expressely told the operator that it will need two people to take down the dryer that is stacked on top of the washer. So, no washer until at least Monday. Well, a noisy washer that doesn't spin very well.

Rwhen, yes, hubby's doing most of the house stuff, shopping and even cooking. I love it!

It's funny looking back at the beginning of the old thread. It was just people arguing over what time it was. Image

Frelga, for your back and the job-search. Was that the interview that you were telling us earlier? And the hubby's home and doing all the work? Wow, you found the right guy. :D

Lee, glad to have you in here! :D

Starlin, do you really want to see New Moon? Hm?

CR, glad you found your job. That's really scary about the nightmare job. I don't think anyone should have to go through that and that's not a way to manage, imo.

Every. Single. Day. rwhen? What about Jammie day? Or does your work not have that? :D

:hihi: everyone, you guys have been busy!
