Poor Morwenna, sick like me...though yours is way worse than mine.
Welcome back, Rowan! After a trip, the only thing to do is nap. So sweet dreams!
4-6 WEEKS?! Ah well. Not so bad as strep, which is determined to ravage the heck out of our school.
On to reading Airman, by Eoin Colfer. Same guy who wrote Artemis Fowl, which is a really good series. I have high hopes for Airman. It looketh fascinating.
Fascinating can be a very fun word to say, if you say it right. Like FAS-kinating. The c has to be hard. A common trait with Tolkien! He did that.
Hmmm...I have to go check out the library. Not only to snag the sequel to the Hunger Games but to see if the geeky animated version of LOTR that goes only to the end of the Battle of Helm's Deep is Bakshi. They pronounce Celeborn's name wrong, by the way. Like Seleborn. Which doesn't even sound as good as Keleborn, the way it's supposed to be pronounced.
My math grade is a 95, Rhwen, so I'm not worrying. I do get all my homework done, just not first thing. Not unless I bug the Homework Club at school. But today I was feeling really tired and I wanted to TORC. Though the sight of my former 6th grade teacher dressed up as Thing 2 complete with a massive poofy blue wig was amusing. He apparently decided to forgo the blue hairspray that Things 1, 3, and 4 (the other 6th grade core teacher and the 2 6th grade paras) used.
Today was Twin Day at Winter Carnival. It was Crazy Hair Day yesterday. I wish I'd seen what Mr. McV looked like then!
