12:15 pm.

Here is the story. It appears that a small plane flown by a US citizen has crashed into the IRS building in Texas. They are thinking it is either domestic terrorist or just an accident or that they guy has a problem with the IRS.

Hey I should have thought of that long ago!!! :D:D Well, then except I would have wanted to LIVE through the experience, as this guy evidently did NOT.

:hihi: bye Vanadarlin' have a great day at work today and see you tomorrow if you have the time to get on before work.

Later Rowan, have a good night sleep and see you tomorrow after your dance class.

Crashing planes and dropping microwaves and sonic booms. Goodness, but life on the What-time-is-it thread is interesting.

No sonic booms today, unfortunately. But in Winter Carnival my grade won all the outside games, plus me and Lukas (guy in my class) won the chess. All those 30's. So very nice. Except on the math games, which I got signed up (when I was sick) for, even though I was already doing chess and the two go on at the same time. We got a 0 on that one, but I'm considering going to complain to my homeroom teacher about it.

Just an observation: On the Olympics, the speed skaters (especially the long-track ones) have sexy legs...jsut thinking. Blame my hormoneses.

It would be funny if the guy who crashed into the IRS building really hated taxes...It's just amusing to my mind.

Oh, and it's 4:25 pm...

Back from work. 7:40 PM CST. Sometimes I want to answer those suspicious people at the checkout, "YES! I am here to cheat you out of all your life savings, foreclose on your mortgage, sell your children into slavery and torture you to death." *sigh* I'm surprised some people taking this from customers day in and day out don't go absolutely postal.

Awwww CR, sounds like you had another um, challenging day, at work. I hope you have a nice relaxing evening. :)

It's 8:12 pm MST and I had a fairly busy day my ownself. Probably nothing like CR's day, but I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, so I was somewhat draggy and grouchy all day.

The guy who flew the plane into the IRS building had a long-standing beef with paying taxes going back to the 1980's. So he flew his plane into the building.. but he must have also had a problem with his family because before he left to get his plane from the airport he set his house on fire.. with his wife & daughter in it. Nice guy. Neighbors helped them out of the house.. I suppose they were wondering where the husband was. Hmpf. Wonder no longer. I guess he left behind a 3,000 word diatribe/manifesto/suicide note.

I read that the FBI haven't confirmed whether the "note" is genuine or not. Not that it matters, seems like the poor guy was pretty messed up . . . :(

Well, it's nearly 10 pm MST and time to jump in the shower and fall into bed.

And hey, tomorrow's FRIDAY!!! Gotta love that . . .

Okay, I am going to turn this thread around.

Hello everyone and Happy Friday, whether you see this as a good thing being the end of the work week, or just another day in the life, I hope that it is a good one.

Already have the countdown clock ticking for my end. Going to be another gorgeous day here in the 'Couv, highs around 60 and clear blue skies.

Much work to do today, so I best get at it.

Well then *zips lip* I was up until 3am watching this morning, of course that is because I fell asleep around 8 when the prime time airing was shown. They do it all again around 1am, but leave out the drama parts and just show the competition.

Hey there was a Brit in the Skeleton, I think it is and she was doing very well, I don't know how it ended though.

Killing time until my next class. Geography of Latin America and the Caribbean.

A lot of what we are doing now is review for me. But I will be a big disadvantage later in the course when we have to make maps and such, as I am not a GARP (geography and regional planning) or a GIS (Geographic info. systems) major. (I thought about both though.)
