Are you serious? Or just teasin? I am not sure where you are located, but here is what it says about the upcoming storm:

The details of the storm cannot be pinpointed yet, but combination of snow and wind will likely create blizzard conditions in the Catskills and Adirondacks of upstate New York, Vermont, northern New Hampshire, and northern Maine from later Thursday into Friday. Road and airport closures are likely, and the strong wind may bring down power lines and tree limbs. The intense combination of snow and wind might extend to areas close to the coast, including Boston, New York City, and perhaps Philadelphia.

We had a snowday based on it "going" to snow a few weeks ago, pretty much the whole state was shut down.

Then nothing happened :D It was funny stuff.

That happens here too, Lewie. And more likely than not, it doesn't snow. To me, I get more concerned when they say, "a light dusting, nothing to worry about" can mean two feet. ;)

Ya wanna know what the weather REALLY is? Look outside the window. :D But I am a weather channel junkie, I admit it freely. ;)

It's not blue bird skies anymore... :(

Lol, people were making jokes about how we have skiing events in the summer olympics, because it's been HOT here the past few days.

11:10, eating breakfast and watching some curling. Woot!

Curling. Never been able to watch that. Same as watching bowling or golf. But I think that Canada is doing well in the curling, no?

Don't choke on your breakfast!! You know, from the exciting curling. :P

Har har.

I'm having a chicken pot pie. Though I'm going to try and cook a Shepard's Pie for lunch/dinner!

And yes, the Canadians are undefeated in men's and women's curling. :D

I love chicken pot pie... yum. I haven't made one of those in awhile.. maybe I'll make one later this week. We don't usually have it for breakfast though!

I don't watch much TV. I rarely watch sports of any sort. But I do catch a bit here & there even though I don't sit down & watch an entire competition. I watched the gold ice dancers on YouTUbe.

1;35 PM CST. I've been watching the women's curling, where the US team is about to be eliminated by China. And I've got tons to do with no time to do it in.

Eru.. you're a college student.. I understand! Besides.. I kinda keep the same kind of hours although I am *trying* to change that.. to a more respectable schedule for someone of my advanced age.. :P ;)

21:40 EET. Finally some time to just sit down, after running various errands for most of the day.

CR, I know. Often it feels that I could sleep all through a day off.

Vana, what the others already said. Telling honestly in which tasks you have succeeded well is not bragging, it's just stating the truth.

When it is Olympics time, I will watch. I try to every time they are on. Other than that, I don't watch ANY sports at all, Rose. Sometimes when I know that Brother and SIL have been to a Blazer game, I will listen to the morning local news for the results. That way I know if it is a good morning or going to be party cloudy in the office. :D

I love home made chicken pot pies. Growing up my mother bought those frozen ones that were dirt cheap. Those I don't like now. *twitch*

Good luck on the shepherds pie, Eru. Pretty easy to make and yummy too.

Edited:

Wow, cross posted with CR AND Rowan!! Hello. CR don't worry for what you can't do. There are times when you just have to do something that brings you some comfort on your days off.

From reading the news it seems that there has been a lot of disappointment with NBC because they are often playing back races/games long after the results have been published.. and it's not as much fun to watch if you know what the results are.

12:20 pm <----- PM finally after noon!!!!!

I had trouble with NBC the whole weekend. But last night it was okay. Being that I work during the day when many events are on and then sleep through the early evening ones, seeing the replay at 1-4am is good for me. But I imagine that I am one of the few that would appreciate that. ;)

I watch sports all the time. In any flavor (except throw-egg I.E, american football)

Hockey, futbol, Olympics including curling ;) basketball, baseball.............I watch whatever I can sports-wise.

Except, oddly enough, sports news

And yes, NBC is annoying me as well.

Hey Lewie. I used to watch much more in the younger days. Now, I try to keep up with the regular TV shows that I don't want to miss and that is about all the time that I have after working all day and such.

So who is winning on the curling today? :P It seems when I watched last night that the next major events were going to be on Thursday. *shrugs*

23:07. Just out of relaxing in the sauna, and having a pint.

Olympics? What's that, preciousss? :P I've hardly got at watching the games at all. On a couple of evenings, I've stuck at watching some hockey game, but that's about it. Even if I'm on vacation, I rather sleep at night. :D

Well college gives you a lot of free time :D but most sports are on at night , when I am up until the wee hours anyway. ( I can never sleep well)

Not sure when curling is on :D I'll HAVE to watch though, I only get to watch it every four years ;)

I watch 2 TV shows weekly, Breaking Bad and Mad Men. I used to watch E.R but that is deceased.

I have also been watching the new Battlestar Galactica on Netflix quite a bit now. My sister also swears by Big Love as a great show.

I know next to nothing about curling. :D

Ummm...what's that code you use? The one where you say like 143 and stuff. Little me has no knowledge of that sort of thing.

On to writing more on my poor helpless character. I feel kind of sorry for him, sometimes. Not as if that stops me from throwing all kinds of torture at the poor guy. I'm so mean.

I bedazzled a friend with my Legsie pics. She was like "Wow..." But I have neither a scanner nor the expertise to post it on the internet. Hmmm.

Yet another song running through my mind. Go figure.

CR...   I never harass clerks unless I know them. And I don't know that many people. And it's usually my mom doing the harassing.

6:24 pm as I watch belated Olympic tapeses and want another cookie.

143. This is a code that I used when my mother was failing in health. 1 = I, 4 = Love and 3 = You. I used to send her messages, when I couldn't afford to call and just said 143. It meant, I love you, I miss you and I hope that all is well.

We have sort of picked it up on the boards. Feel free to use it.

*passes Elfwraith another cookie*

Cooking's fun. Quite fun indeed.

Especially if you make cookies and help yourself to the batter in the process. :D

And thank you for the cookie, rhwen! *salutes with half-eaten cookie, sending crumbs flying everywhere*

143 y'all! :D:D:D

This Mac is annoying. It tells me every time I spell something that it perceiveth as wrong. We got wireless, woot! :happydance: :yippie:

So I'm in my bed enjoying meself, tapping away. :D

Lotsa smilies. Hmmm...How suspicious. *looks up shifty-eyed, a la Sherlock Holmes-y type person thing*

Hmm. Well, I did write a little on my poor tortured character...perhaps two sentences... :D

I really should write more.

Ohhhh...crud. Gotta go plug in the laptop. Running outta battery.
