Thank you rowanberry, Wenchie, heliona, Calma, and all. :)

And Wenchie, it does feel great. :D I had a shower today WITHOUT a doubled plastic bag on my hand/arm for the first time in three months and it was like heaven. LOL Amazing what little things bring you joy after so long with one wing in a sling, so to speak . . . :)

notlistening wrote:They called you a lady...and are still alive? Do they not know about teh sword???

Alas, I was forced to let them keep their heads. It would have been near impossible to wield the sword while one cast tech was holding my left arm and hand encased in hardening plastic and my right had a death-grip on the table . . . ;)

Mmmmm, Shrimp Month. I could go for that . . . maybe we could include a secoond yummy food choice for NL. Maybe she could even pick it . . . ;) :D

oooooo scampi . . . good thing I've had dinner or I'd be stealing that . . . ;)

Yesterday, I was at a great concert again - Joanna Newsom is really an awesome singer-songwriter and musician. 8)

And this weekend, I'll be busy hosting my TORC friends so, I probably won't be much online.

Have a good weekend, all! :hihi:

Lightening up, sir.... (salutes)

Hiril's head popped?

Boy Howdy was I out of sync this morning.
All I had to make was biscuits and gravy for breakfast when suddenly the bottom dropped out and I was all over that kitchen trying to get back on track. Fortunately, I was able to gather my stuff together and got the food on the line with five minutes to spare.

Too close for my comfort I tell ya...

Whew....I'm with you Iris....busy, busy. I'm sitting down for the second time today....resting my dogs before I head back out to run yet more errands.

I'm not sure what the heck I was thinking when I said at the meeting a month ago "hey, we could have the whole group over to our house for a BBQ" :bang: But.....I did get a lot done today....and I stated that it would be a pot luck so I don't have to cook all that much.

OK...two phone calls then off to get more stuff. Have a great evening!

LOL, I'm glad I wasn't here when THAT alarm went off . . . :P ;)

Busy, busy day here too, I'm just finally sitting down to rest for a few before the last load of laundry needs folding and putting away . . . *whew*

But I got a ton of errands run this morning, all the laundry is done, the house is clean and I even managed to pull the fridge and stove out to clean underneath/behind; a twice or three times yearly job that was due to be done. I also managed to go through a few cupboards and purge, I'll be giving a lovely wooden salad set and a bunch of Tupperwear to charity real soon, LOL. ;)

The day dawned very, very cool (+6C) and it has been raining on and off pretty steadily all day, which means no gardening (but that's okay, we need this). The rain is supposed to slack off and disappear overnight/tomorrow and the sun return on Monday  (of course, as soon as I have to go back to work), so I can see gardening on the chore list for every evening this coming week. Which I don't mind in the least . . . ;)

I should probably be thinking of what to make for dinner . . . :D

Later!

Just got back from our favorite Mexican place. :D
Enchiladas.... YUM

My tummy has a happy. :D

I've had a lazy Saturday.
Just the usual Saturday morning grocery shopping then boob tube watching. My babyman's in the living room watching Avatar and his suround sound is rocking the house. Can hardly hear the soccer game. Oh well, I'll live.

Have a good one, people.
