Today, I am exactly ten years and one day old. (On this site, anyway.) Holy Cow, was it a whole of ten years ago that I joined TORC? Good gracious. It doesn't feel like that long.

My TORCversary was last Friday. I forgot about it, or I would have started a Congratulations to Me thread. :P (not really)

Today was the first day at work since daylight savings time started.....DO NOT LIKE daylight savings time.

I know Sid. I saw it the other day. Thank you. :D

Today I really have to clear up some things at work that I've been ignoring for a while. Gotta try to get it out of the way.

Today I got my room booked for the Oxford Moot in August, it came to £84 for two nights. I still need to sort out my train travel, but I'll due that in due time. :)

Today I went into town and met up with some Brony friends as I usually do on a Friday and had a good time. ^^ Had to try and talk to a friend, give him advice etc and hope I was at least somewhat succesful in that endeavour.

Also I picked up this book I've been wanting for weeks that's been on display in my local comic book store "The Tolkien Years of the Brothers Hildebrandt (hoping I spelt that right) comprised of artwork they drew for a few calendars in the 1970's. I've had to hold off on buying it several times and I finally bit the bullet and bought it. :D

It cost me about £22, totally worth every penny as most of the artwork inside is incredible, especially that cover artwork of Smaug wreaking havoc on Dale as he does towards the end of The Hobbit before his (fairly rushed and in my opinion anti climactic) death at the hands of Bard.

Today (well it still is the 15th for me) I left a message on a friend's phone "Beware the Ides of March."
I have been leaving that message for her for years, and it always gets a reaction. Today, she needed an good dose of the Bard, and got it.

Exeunt (me and the cat and dog)

Today I put in an extra hour at work just to catch up a little. Also I left an hour early yesterday, so I wanted to make up the time.

Today I am headed to Bath dressed up smartly (well...smartly by my standards anyway!) to go out drinking with some Brony buddies of mine, at least one of whom that I know of is also a Tolkien fan. I plan to read LOTR on the buses I catch to get there as well. :)

Well, welcome to a very rainy Bath, Leon! :D

Today I was planning to clear some mold off the window frame, but now it is too cold to be anywhere near a window. Hm, might still do it because it is driving me crazy. Every winter it is the same problem!

Today, work was a bit annoying. Had a really rude guy on the other end of the phone who was annoyed that I called him on a Saturday afternoon and just wanted some time to himself. Sorry I'm not psychic!

Today I am just sat at my computer killing time, kicking it back after yesterday.

Speaking of which, I had such an awesome day/night yesterday :D Alcohol was consumed but it was about more than that for me, it was just plain, flat out fun to do with that lot. I don't go out to the pub like that quite as often as most people do but when I do I certainly make the most of it xD

I also managed to sleep through most of the night because of it too. :P Something that rarely happens to me these days! I did make a dumb choice when getting the bus up as I had just missed an X39 and hopped on another bus to Bath instead, which made the journey take nearly 2 hours. ^^;

Today, I wish all of you a very nice St. Paddy's Day (all of you are part Irish--at least today, right!).
I had green pancakes for breakfast.
I am working on two Probate documents, to be sent and filed tomorrow. Well, at least they will go in ontime.
If I finish up, I will go and throw out some more stuff.

Today I have been up since about 4 AM. Might as well do something productive with my time, I thought, so it's off to an early start with work before a quick drop-off at the GP's. Dinner ist already thawing too, so we're good.

Today I an sat in a dentist's waiting room trying to kill time. Looking into reader companions for Tolkien to make reading Lord of the Rings more fufilling, help me look up names I may not recognise more easily, though I do always have sites like Tolkien Gateway and LOTR Wiki in the meanwhile until I decide on one.

Today I am hoping I still have enough energy after work to get something done at home.

Something besides collapse in front of the TV that is.

Today I am 2118 words into my 3500 word essay. Not due for another couple of weeks, but I am quite proud of myself because I am not procrastinating and leaving it until the last minute for once.

Well done, Tari! (Not so good news about the hospital appointment though - I am sorry to hear that. I hope they get you sorted quickly!)

Today i have been unusually productive. I am not sure whether my getting up at 4 AM had anything to do with it or not. I just couldn't sleep so I read for a few hours and then ran errands in the morning and did business stuff. I have a lot of new ideas to implement so I was glad to have the energy to get it all done today.

Thanks, Silwen. The hospital thing will take a while to be sorted out. As soon as I went in the doctor said I shouldn't have been referred to Rheumatology, it should have been Neurology. Said the same thing at Physiotherapy. I also got x-rays today for my chest, hands and feet. When asked who to phone for the results, the radiographer said: "Oh, Dr such and such doesn't contact patients usually so if you don't hear from us, assume no news is good news." And now I have to go for a breathing test next month (but seriously, I'm breathing at the minute, right???) Also need to get a horrible nerve conduction test where I get an injection in my nerve and they put electrical stumuli through it to see how long it takes for the nerve to react... :Q

Today I am killing time by finding references for my essay until I need to go to work tonight.

Today I have managed to stay up until 6:03am and I am still not tired...I am the textbook definition of an insomniac. Though on the plus side that is also the name of one of my favourite game developers (Insomniac Games, big Ratchet and Clank fan) which is a plus in some odd way, in this bizzare mind of mine.
