Today I finally got the certificate for the CE credits from the seminar I attended last week.

So that's a good thing.

Today I faxed the last remaining item that the re-finance lender has asked for. Of course, I know that they will think up more stuff to need, but it is a good feeling to be ahead of them.

Weather permitting, that is.

Today I am in my university's 24 hour computer lab doing everything except work on my essay. I'm starting to get peckish, but unfortunately there isn't anywhere to eat on campus opened at this time at the weekend. I should have went to one of the nearby shops and grabbed something before coming here. Too lazy now.

Today I slept in, which was nice, but made me really late getting started on my errands. I STILL haven't started on my housework yet.

Today I only got online in the evening. I also published a sock pattern for purchase and I wonder if it will be popular. :D

Thanks! Yes, here are two links: this one is the pattern in my Etsy shop and here is the link from Ravelry.

Today I am thinking about which yarn to use to design another sock pattern. So all in all I am having a very relaxing Monday. :D I went to the post office earlier to post Easter cards and parcels and then I treated myself to a bubble tea from the new bubble tea bar. I chose a very tasty lychee green tea with popping bubbles that were strawberry and blueberry flavoured. Very good!

WOW!! THOSE ARE SOME COOL SOCKS!! :D And I'm glad you had a nice day.

Today I didn't feel too well all day. I'm glad the workday is over. Now I have to do the things that are absolutely necessary (like feeding the cats and cleaning their boxes) before I can rest.

Thanks, Ladykat! :D I do love knitting socks and designing them. I have now decided on a yarn to use for my next sock project and I have the pattern library ready so I can start designing. :bookworm:

Today I am happy just looking at some new mango-coloured yarn a friend sent me as a gift. Normally i don't like yellow yarns, but this one is beautiful! Since we don't have any sunshine, just looking at the colour gives me the feeling of it being spring.

Today I caught the bus and picked up something I missed the delivery for from the Post Office Collection Department...or whatever it's called, I don't know but all I know is that I was able to collect the package I missed. Also ordered a reader's companion for The Lord of the Rings, can't wait until that arrives!

Though I got to showcase just how dumb I am today. Felt like making the most of my bus ticket and enjoying the relaxation of a (mostly) quiet bus journey and head out to Cribbs Causeway with my Hobbit/LOTR starter sets en tow and just hang out for a bit...only to then find I had gotten on a 76 instead of a 75. Decided to just go to the one in town instead, meaning another hour or more longer on the bus than I had counted on...

I hope you are all enjoying this Easter weekend.

Today I made my best ever lamb shank, which I roasted with rosemary from a friend's garden and orange sea salt from another friend's holiday on Mallorca. I made German potato dumplings and veg and gravy on the side. Now we are stuffed!

Today we actually had a full day of sunshine for the first time in ages! It was very nice to have so much light all day long. As a result, today turned out to be lovely all around and very relaxing.

Today I had my first end of year exam. It went very well, but then again it was an open book exam so I can't take a lot of credit for it.

Today I baked as well! :D What do you think you'll make, Tari? I made raspberry muffins which turned out really well. I use a Paul hollywood recipe that calls for the batter to rest for a day if possible. It has nutmeg in it which I normally don't like, but it is actually the bit that gives the muffins their wonderful flavour.

I think I may have offended an old friend of mine after she offended me by only commenting negatively on some pictures I posted. Told her that now may be the time to stop commenting. I think she may have misunderstood and assumes I don't want her to comment on anything at all anymore. Might have to clarify.

I'm looking to make some banana muffins and some chocolate chip muffins. However, most recipes I find are for 12 and am having trouble cutting it down for 6. Any tips/recipes, Silwen?

Today I had to go and buy ingredients and muffin tins. Baking is expensive.

I used thisrecipe and it yielded 7 muffins in the end. I know it says 12, but I have no idea how tiny they would have to be then!

Today I am being annoyed by lots of different people. :P I don't like it.

Meh, I only seen your recipe after I'd poured the mixtures into the cases. I didn't have blueberries so would have had to have gone to the shops, but they do look amazing! They are out of the oven and some look a little skew-whiff. I've taken a before picture and will wait a wee while before taking an after picture. Will let you know how they look and how they taste. :)

Set me on the annoying people!

Today, now that I've satisfied my baking needs, perhaps I should study.

Ola friends!
Long time no see. (And I do apologize for that! :P)

Today I decided to bring out all my Chess tips and tactics books and read'em again. There are a few contests ahead. ;)

I admire all you energetic people who bake. Don't do it myself, but I'll be your taste tester. :P

Today I went to my sister's house for a while. Just a short visit. :D

Also finally changed my sig pic.

No worries, Kat, I don't usually bake. ;) I like to cook, but for some reason baking just seems like too much work. I think it is because 1) it rarely ever turns out well when I do bake and 2) baking can never be done in one go. There is so much waiting and resting and cooling involved you have to take a break and then continue later again. I find that a bit annoying and a waste of time. :D

Today I am contemplating perhaps tackling the tiles in the bathroom. I want to give them a good clean even though there are areas I can barely get to because my arm (and the rest of me) are just too short!
