I got back a lot later than I anticipated and I'm just about to go on a sponsored walk, so my photo will be delayed until later today. :cry2:

I'll back-date it as per usual.

Edited to add: Right, my photo is up. Sorry it's so bad, but I only had my phone with me and I wasn't that close to the stage. I was hoping the video would be all right, but it will need considerable editing before it is fit for human consumption! (The sound is awful.)

I've had an idea. My phone (my camera too) will text to e-mail. I text stuff to my e-mail all the time. If someone would be willing to give me their e-mail addy and post the pics for me, I could text my weekly pic and the info about it to someone that way I could still participate. If it's too much extra work, I completely understand.

As for the Friday and other spots, I can't say ... I don't keep track!

I've updated my 365 post with some links to explain who The Stone Roses were (well, are, since they've just reformed) and how they were influential in the UK music scene, since rwhen made me realise that no-one will know who they are!

Thanks heliona. I appreciate knowing more now than I did before. I had not heard of them and I was in bands during the time they first came out, but that doesn't me that they were not known on this side of the pond.

No problem.

You may recognise a song or two - I did when I first heard them, although the name of the band didn't really ring any bells with me.

But then, I wasn't paying much attention to music at that time (since I wasn't in the country!).

OH and I did not go as the pirate today!! I wore a dress of a Noble Woman from the Middle Ages. I will get a shot of it and post it later for everyone to see!!

Calma! I love butterfingers too! That's why I don't buy any and so I am not tempted. I buy snickers.. hubby loves them but they are not terribly tempting to me.

Tooksey.. well now, ain't that special? I know from experience that when there is a big snowfall and the leaves are still on the trees, that means big trouble for the electric workers! You photos are striking. The contrast in the first one especially.
