9:17am... dilemma dilemma... do I go to work now or later?
Pros: I get to know exactly what is going in the morning and can make my decision as to whether I keep the morning shift or if I don't. And maybe I can get them to work and get money on the board...
Cons: Being at work for 9:45am and running till 9pm is going to kill me (and let's not even talk about my state of mind when I get home to my husband)
Oh and I can't finish the two writing posts that I have to unless I bring my laptop at work and take 30 minutes for myself (which is unlikely when I am there)

1:45 pm and I've just recovered from my lunchtime walk. The wind was blowing and the cold was enough to make you wonder whether it might have been a good idea to stay inside, but I feel better for having gotten out for a little while at least. Gets the blood flowing even if it serves only to turn your ears purple.

4:26 PM PST - time for baby mama DIL to head home and feed the little angel, who is sleeping at the moment, though she took a good 45 minutes of fretting to get that way.

11:47 PM PST time for my husband to stop talking and reading emails to me so I can calm down and go to sleep. I love him, and if I should happen to survive him I'd be stuck in a world of ordinary people.
I just wish he'd be quiet for now.

It's 10:14 pm PST, and I've had a very lazy Saturday.. I slept in quite late, and haven't really done much all day. I had breakfast in the afternoon, watched some tv, showered, and made myself some tuna mac & cheese for dinner, which was yummy. I think I'll actually try to get a few chores done before I go to bed. ;)

10:18 PM PST - time for bed. What a week! Babysitter, taxi service, counselor, bookkeeper, mother, grandmother, wife, cook...and Tolkien fan. Good night!

Time for me to return to the boards!!!

4.52pm AEDT... It's been raining ALL day - about 50mm has fallen so far where I live (which is about two inches for those who think in imperial measurements). And there's more rain to come. The forecast was for "80mm to 150mm" today  ... so goodness knows how much more is to come!!

Big hellos to all who I love and haven't spoken to for ages. It's been a long time away for a range of reasons, but :hihi: and I will hopefully see you all again very soon

xx

It's 10:45 pm PST, and I'm winding down for bed, since I have to work in the morning. I finally got to see Genny tonight, for the first time since Christmas. She spent a month in Southern California visiting her relatives, and she just returned yesterday. I'm so glad she's back! :D

7:40 AM PST - time to get my teeth cleaned. Being at the dentist's office is so different today than 50 years ago when I first started going, yet I still have a faint anxiety. At least I'm here.

Shouldn't be allowed. One day I will come over there and slap your bosses around the head. Politely, of course.

It's 10.06pm AEDT and it's time to get ready for bed. Had one daughter go back to school today, the other one goes tomorrow.

9:59am EST. Have gone to work for 8:45am and have just taken a break to get breakfast.
I have brought my laptop to work since I will be doing a 12 hour shift and I intend to take a 1 hour break for lunch so I'll be able to come here for a little while hopefuly.
Mostly I hope to be able to write...

7:46 PM PST- babysitting 2 month old granddaughter. I forgot to bring my crochet so there's not much to do, unless I get all up in my DIL's housekeeping, never a good idea.
