0730 here in the pacific northwest, that's 7:30 am for you who dont do military time.

And here is a song they use to play on a local radio station

Monday is a bummer
Tuesday's only fair
Wednesday's getting better
And Thursday's almost there
But Friday, Friday, Friday is my favorite
Friday is my favorite
Friday is my favorite daaayyaaayyyyay!!!

Hope you all have a great day,
And remember to play

It's 9:07 pm PST, and I'm home after a day out at the mall and Barnes & Noble. Sadly, I had no money to spend, but I still love spending time in the bookstore. ;) :D

I'm off to bed soon.. tomorrow is Monday, and it's back to work in the morning.

It's 9:42 pm PST, and I'm doing my nightly TORCing before bed. My throat is a bit sore, and I really hope I'm not getting sick. Also, I don't want to work tomorrow. :P

Right now it's 10:53 pm PST, and I'm home after seeing The Hobbit for the third time (in 3D, this time ;) :P), with James and Toni. We had dinner at In-N-Out, then James went to the grocery store and picked up a buttercream cake with chocolate frosting, since we've been craving cake for a while, and we all had cake and milk and watched a bit of tv. Now it's time for me to shower and go to bed.. tomorrow is Monday, and the start of another long work week.

Makes me tired just thinking about it. Goodnight TORC!

8:43am EST... browsing the Pony with a tea in hand; reminds me of the days of old . Reading Bardy's or Leoba's posts was my usual morning routine. Memories of a time when I was younger and had more time to read/write and be here ;) ;).
Just up far too early but well :P

About 10:30 am EST.

Been in the office for several hours now. Wondering why the temperature in here seems to be schizophrenic (too hot one minute, too cold the next), and wondering if I could get away with dissapearing for an hour to go for a walk outside where at leas the temp is a constant cold.

lol Hamlet...
well 11:02am EST. About to leave to get to the office proper although I have been logged onto the work server since 9:30am.
Looks like I will have to have a heart to heart with my employees; it seems that the proverbial playing of the mice is happening. If they think me stupid they will learn the hard way; how difficult is it to understand that your boss has access to your stats from home?
If you are supposed to be in at 9:30am and you log in at 9:45am I will know.

I knew there was a reason why I told my bosses that I did not believe in staff working without me being there :P :P. Oh well, let's go deal with this.

Silly mice!
8:07 AM Sitting in bed, watching the inaugural, waiting for the call from my son whose wife returns to work today, leaving him with their two month old daughter.
"And it is said by the Eldar that in water there lives yet the echo of the Music of the Ainur more than in any substance else that is in this Earth; and many of the Children of Ilúvatar hearken still unsated to the voices of the Sea, and yet know not for what they listen."

There is something profound about standing AT sea level.

I'd like a snow day---or two---or twelve!

It's beautifully white out there :D. I am not overly fond of the white stuff in the city but I am glad to see winter arriving finally :) :). 12 degrees in January is definitely not natural

8:20 am.

It's cold here. VERY cold. The max temp today is supposed to just break 20F. And tonight it's supposed to get down to about 7F.

Wouldn't be so bad if the Facilities crew would freakin' turn on the heat in our office.

So very cold.

9:00 am EST.

I've come to the conclusion that God has a twisted sense of humor. Temperature gauge outside read 3 degrees F this morning. We're expecting it to rise to a balmy 15 degrees.

Though I'm told the upper midwest is insanely cold and I shouldn't complain as long as the thermometer reads above zero degrees.

Still, so cold that yesterday, I attempted to go for a walk and learned that office attire is, surprisingly, not suitable for polar exploration.
