We are supposed to have sever thunderstorm here tonight... I'm gonna get my camera ready here in a bit and see if maybe I can catch some lightning :D

I really want to get a "dance" together... I just wish there were more people near me interested in doing such things.

If it's a physical meet up, I can't go. :(

The fields I was dancing in back in April have been mowed. I have my Dancing Lawn back. YAY!!!

Sky, why wouldn't you be able to join for a physical meet/Lunar dance? Under age of majority? Just remember, all obstacles like that can be gotten around, with the proper leverage.

I'll write more once the brain has stopped it's current meltdown. I have news

Nopes, I'm definitely not underage. I went past that stage around 2, 3 years ago. :)

It's more of the financial factor. No moolah.

Well, Sky, the obvious answer is those of us with means make some provision for those without means. To translate my rather Dickens like statement, we come to you. Or someone that is comparatively close picks you up along the way.

But the lack of money is never the final factor in matters like this.

True, but it also depends on which part of the world the meet will be held in, before any of us can make any decisions?

Ahhhh ... but to meet up with Sky would require money on one or both parts... I have none either. If I could get there I have a place I could stay but tickets aren't cheap... neither is the passport......

One never knows what one can accomplish till one has tried! Yes I understand the monitary challenges of this day and age but I agree with Orion. One just might get others to come to them or help them out if one could. :D

I am up to checking into a chance to get together with other Twilight Dancers!!

I understand where you and Orion are coming from. And I understand the necessity of trying. But sometimes, trying and having possibilities fulfilled are two different things.

Though, out of curiosity, if we were to hold a guild meet, where would we hold it?

That is something we can see about! We would first have to know where everyone is and then where might be most centrally located. Then who could or couldnt afford to travel. By looking at all these factors and deciding on an aproximate date to which to have said dance, then we could make a call on where.

Dont post where you are here but you can email myself or LadyEdana or Orion and we can compare the information that we learn. Myself, I am in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest. Washington to be exact.

Me, I'm in Singapore.

Also, I'll be going to Indonesia this September/October, and possibly Melbourne, Australia next year, both for a pre-survey before I decide where I want to get permanent residence status to...

It is that dental temp agency that I'm working for, but they generally have me working 3 days a week, which is what I had with a permanent office. I'm earning more as the temp (at least, a higher earning rate) and I can have as much off time as I need. That is tempered by the knowledge of "If I don't work, I don't have money." I'm just making Dental Power (name of the agency) my "full-time" job for now.

As for the full moon, I'll be dancing under it's pale light later tonite (more like VERY early tomorrow, if you know what I mean), and every other night that I can manage to do so.

It is overcast today and suppose to rain the rest of the week so I might not get to see the full moon. :( I want to dance this saturday night if at all possible. I might just be dancing in the rain!

Ooooh dancing in the rain is fun, especially when it's summer time and it's a warm rain that you can just get soaked in. My friend and I did that in the soccer field in front of our dorm one and we got COMPLETELY soaked, thaaaaat was fun!

Yesterday afternoon it was so overcast and cloudy that I almost cried. It was the full moon last night and I so wanted to see it. Just after the moon rose up over the mountains I stepped out and the clouds were almost totally gone. A ribbon cloud remained just below the moon. The clouds looked like they were lit up by the light of the moon. So full and so wonderful to see it hanging in the sky. The night was warm and so peaceful as she hung there smiling at me. I was truly at peace again.

I hope that some of you got to enjoy the full moon last night!!

Alas I live in the city so it was too bright to be able to see much of the Perseids last night though I did catch one shooting star. :D I am planning on seeing if I can get to our night sky watch spot to catch some of the remains of the showers.

I still remember the first time my love and I sat out to watch the showers. It has been about 4 years now since then and I still love to sit and lean back on his chest as we watch the showers overhead. We will be watching for the Leonides in November as well. :D
