Today everyone was home together for a change, and instead of everyone heading to their own particular computers to play various games, we all watched The Illusionist together. My daughter and I had already seen it, but we get all excited when we can get her dad and brother to watch anything with us...and the guys really enjoyed it! :D

...of course now that it's over, everyone has scattered to their personal spaces (and me on my little laptop ;))...

Silwen, I hope you're not getting sick!

Today, despite having about 6 hours' sleep, I'm wide awake and pretty excited. :happydance: One of my favourite Scottish artists, The MacDonald Bros. are releasing their new album today. :happydance::happydance:

Today it's Monday, hurrah! :P So far I am feeling a bit better than yesterday, but it may be the calm before the storm, you never know.

Back to work. *yawn* I don't have anything better to do anyway.

Today, despite the fact that it's almost Spring, it's unbelievably foggy, and it's bitterly cold as well. The fog smells funny as well. Don't ask me why, but my classmates agreed, and it's not your usual kind of foggy smell. :P

I also went into the local music store and they didn't have the album. :( If it clears up later, I'll take a wander into town after classes finish, but if not, I can order it and it will arrive sometime next week. :(

The penguins are coming! :Q

;)

:P

Today I was finally able to print out some more knitting patterns for my folder. I hate just bookmarking online patterns because I might lose them next time my computer screws up. Now that we finally have a new printer, I can store the patterns better.

That being said, I do not like the new printer at all. My parent think that getting a printer/copier/fax/phone combo is perfect, but I don't. If just one of these things breaks down, we'll have to buy everything all over again.

Today I am having some ginger and lemon black tea. It is decaffeinated, which is the only reason I bought it. Any regular black tea would keep me awake even longer than usual. I wish this one tasted more of ginger and lemon though.

Today, I finally got the album that I wanted. :) It wasn't as good as was expected, but they sing some awesome songs, and they are both really awesome singers. They've come so far since X Factor, (our equivalent of American Idol) celebrated the release of their third album and won some nifty awards. :)

Today, I spent most of the afternoon waiting for my turn at the passport office. But now, my application is in, and I'll get my new passport next week, which is far quicker than I expected. 8)

Today, I'm panicking because I have a physics exam tomorrow...

But I'm also happy because I've got over half my exams finished! :)

(But they're only mocks... The real thing is in June... :( )

Today, I am watching funny videos on YouTube. You have to love that site. I could gladly waste my life away in front of it. I'm getting some really weird looks from my parents. :P

Today I wanted to babe buns in the middle of the night. I also wanted to chat to Mark on IM though. I took my laptop into the kitchen and chatted to him while baking. He got a bit covered in flour.

Ah, love, eh?

Today I can't sleep. I want to finish watching the first episode of a series, but it is taking ages to load. I probably won't make it all the way through - it's already 3 a.m. :Q

Today, I'm eating cookies, and the crumbs are flying everywhere. :P I also need to watch "A Streetcar Named Desire" - the classic version with Marlon Brando - as well as start reading a new book before I go to work tonight.

Calamares? As in squid? You're a far braver woman than me, Silwen. :P

I've never actually seen "A Streetcar Named Desire." Or read the book for that matter. I get teased a lot for that. :P

Today, I need to stop procrastinating on the Internet and get things done around here. Another half hour should do the trick, although I said the same thing a half hour ago.

Yes, squid. I love squid! There was only once time I had it in Italy and did not like it. It was grilled, which is nice enough, but they hadn't taken its beak out. Ew. I suddenly chewed on that and didn't like that idea at all. I think I generally like odd foods simply because they are odd and not everyone likes them. :P

Today I think I have done enough work. Now I shall have to decide whether to continue reading what I started or if I should begin my favourite author's latest novel instead. It just arrived at my place today and I am looking forward to reading it! :D

Today, work was really hectic, and the manager and supervisor unbearable. We're having a big visit tomorrow, and the warehouse was getting cleared, so we had to put all the stock out on the shelves and then face up afterwards. Myself, and one of my colleagues worked and faced up the pet food, soap powder and washing up, cereal and the entire third aisle. It was seriously a mad rush at the end, and we got out half an hour late.

Today Mark is staying with friends so I have a night off as well, so to speak. I am bored. :P I am listening to music and trying to watch another episode of a very slowly loading series on the internet. :| I might watch a DVD instead later.
