Well, it was my sister's birthday, I suppose that could be significant.... :D

Well, so far it seems I get the weekend off.
Wooo... Whatever am I going to do with two whole days off...
In a row...

That sounds good.
That sounds real good.
Don't know what the next week will bring, but I'll take the weekend and enjoy the rest.

How about we call out for pizza? :D

Enjoy the sleeping in this weekend, Calma. I always have the best intentions of doing just that, but it never seems to work out that way...

:P

Looks like another icky weekend weather-wise. Rain, ice, snow ...plummeting temps.

Is it Spring yet?

Yay for a whole weekend off for Calma! :drink: And, your plans for the weekend sound just right. :D

It's great when you don't have to care about the clock for a couple of days.

No great weather to be expected here either, but at least, it shouldn't rain. Might even get to stick my nose outside.

In other news.....um..... it's Saturday.

Ok, so there's not a lot of excitement this time of year. :P

Plummeting temps, yeah . . . don't we know it. It's minus 28C out there, with a brisk windchill of minus 39C. And they're forecasting flurries for tonight and tomorrow. Which means shovelling in sub-Arctic conditions . . . bleh.

I'm staying inside in my fleece PJ's, drinking tea and watching endless eps of CSI Las Vegas.

:hihi: to all the TVM'ers! Keep warm everyone!

The other day my babyman brought home some lumpia and, of course, I scarfed it right down. So we made plans to go to the local Filipino restaurant for some pancit and lumpia today. We got down there and found that it has closed.

Drat!!!

Ok, go to plan B...
That would be good, 'cept we didn't have a plan B.
Since our mouths were set on Asian cuisine, Burger King wasn't high on our list nor was Subway.
Well, we rode about town discussing our options before I remembered a little hole-in-the-wall place that served Chinese and Japanese foods.

Oh yeah...
We loved plan B!!!
:yippie:

Peking Pork to die for.
Tempura veggies, Teriyaki chicken, chow mein, rice and fortune cookies...

Oh, just to die for...
My mouth is happy... :D

Yep, definitely a place we'll be going back to.

I just found out that Lush is going to open a shop in my city, and even better, at a mall that I visit rather often. I don't have to carry my favourite moisture cream all the way from my trips to Britain any longer!

Not fair. I have 5 hours to go... *sigh*

It is freezing here today. -11C.

It would be nice if we had even a little bit of snow to go with that frigid air. :x

Rant over. :P

Seems that the Americans, and especially Canadians, get all the cold and snow this winter. Here, it more or less rained again.

Mondays should at least be sunny, then it would be a bit easier to get going after the weekend.

Got to start thinking of my entrance to the ball at MoST... :D

It's raining here!!
Which is actually good news cause the farmers are in drought, don't know if the rain is enough to make much of a difference but as it is supposed to rain for the next few days, hopefully it will give some relief :)

:yippie: It was only -4C today!! Well, the windchill made it -11C, but lemme tell ya, after 2 weeks of -20C and -30C, minus 11 feels like spring . . . and apparently tomorrow is going to be only -2C with no wind! Although, they're saying snow . . .

Another crappy weather day.

I'm going to either move someplace cold or someplace warm. All this back and forth, up and down stuff is driving me bonkers. Not that I need any help with that.

Let's talk about Wenchie so she comes and reads it in this thread. Let's talk about ....about..... about .... her bathroom.
