The gift would be to not have to resort to violence but have the superior intelligence to conquer on wits alone, like me 8)

Well, using wits is fun and all (and a good exercise, let's not forget) but it's just delicious to stroll in somewhere and watch people scurry around like rats. See, for the most part it's just the threat of violence that really makes people jump.

Another day on the PCE thread, at it is the day shift.

Friday and all is well in the Pacific Northwest. Lovely blue skies and temps to reach upper 50's in my area. Great start for the weekend, I would think.

:hihi: hope all are well today.

Rowan? Where are you and your beautiful dress?

Hey, there are so many threads to check... :D

Today, there was definitely a hunch of spring in the air, although it was quite windy. But, the near future probably gets our feet back on the ground...

The hubby and I had planned to get a new car this spring, and today, we went to look for the new models. We ended up doing a test drive, and didn't see any reason to put the decision off any longer. So, in three weeks or so, we'll really have a new Fiat Linea. 8)

Wow, does it look like this one? That is one nice looking vehicle.

Three weeks. That is not too long to wait at all. YAY on you.

I am also to get a new vehicle this year, but it will be new to ME...not brand new. I am looking at BMW's that are 10 years older or maybe 12. The one I have is on it's last wheels. She is tired and complains to me all the time. I love my car, I do. 25 years is a long time in service and she has been so reliable. She creaks and moans and groans...but still starts right up and has never left me stranded. I will miss her. *sigh*

Glad you are feeling the spring in the air. Same here. :D:D

Hey Tooksies, you got a new car not that long ago too...a red one IIRC?

Yes, rwhen, that's the one. We're just getting a metal red one.

25 years is a lot for a car, especially if it's in everyday use. So, a well kept 10 year old or so will definitely be an improvement. And, a BMW is a good make, as far as I know. :)

Yeppers, that is why I want a BMW again, they are totally reliable and seemingly last for a long time, if my rig is any example.

Red? Very sweet.

Okay, I am down to 2.75 hours left before the weekend and I am SO ready for it.

I am going to LA this weekend for a meeting...only one day and then home again on Saturday evening. Sunday will be the only day for rest and there are the chores to do.

*sigh*

And the end of your holiday, Rowan. Hey a new car, some time off, not bad for a weeks, not work. :D
