All we had to say when Eomer had his little "chat" with his sister was "There you go, you p-ed her off, now she's going to go show you up you big dork!" Honestly, big brothers  If he had kept his mouth shut....... :P :P :P

But what a lovely mouth it is....he WAS the only thing that saved the "Drinking Game" from being completely horrid

And I was good--I didnt start crying when he had his "primal scream" moment on the battle field(I had an audience, so I had to behave  ).

Huge early afternoon sw  =:) =:) :horse: n for EOMER!!!!!!

Lovely pix Galenmir

away in a stable
with hay for a bed
was Eomer's Firefoot
and Lothiriel's mare red

they eyed each other
warily they approached
a nuzzle and a lick
and they were raproached

and in the background
their respective humans
bandy insults around
and can now barely stand

"Straw headed giant!! "
"Brunette little vixen!! "
"You think with your sword"
"You belong in the kitchen"

All night they yell,
and scream abuse ,
thinking the other
is dense and obtuse.

Meanwhile Firefoot
and the red mare
come to an understanding
and kick Eomer ,

Eomer falls over ...
On Lothiriel he lands
She gasps in surprise
and grabs hold of his hands

Their foreheads clash
their senses awaken
their noses do crash
and they feel very shaken

As their lips meet
they both give a sigh
they pull back discreetly
"If they catch us we die!!"

Eomer gladly helps
the young lady afoot
they walk out tigehther
no longer in dispute

He goes on his knee
and begs for her hand
"My horse likes your
horse, you understand."

With encouragement
like that, what lady
could really resist?
she gives him a slap

"Isn't it obvious
I'm not my mare!
Can you be more romantic?
oh please Eomer?"

Eomer blushes
he is lost for words
and almost decides
to argue with swords

Then from behind
where they store the tack
comes sister Eowyn
and gives him a smack

"Oh brother,
you can be so dense .
Why can you not see
her beauty intense ?"

And she grabs her
brother and Lothiriel both
and tells them
to plight this most wanted troth

Eomer looks sheepish
Lothiriel delighted
because she no
longer feels slighted

Imrahil now walks
into the room
and exclaims with glee
"Three cheers to the groom !!"

And off they gallop,
into the plains
Eomer and Lothiriel
tale's now at an end

Yeah, yeah, that strumpet from Dol Amroth

Eomer was meant to be FREEEEEE!!! *so we could all chase him across the Riddermark =:) *

Eomer went riding across the Riddermark.
And we of the Roharem chased him on a lark!
He could find no places to hide anywhere,
And yes, we know it wasnt really very fair,
When we finally caught and lassoed him in the dark!

He ought to KNOW by now, not to raise the ire of us women  I mean, look what his sister did to prove him wrong(and it was just bad timing that WiKi was in the way :P )

Huge early afternoon sw  =:) =:) :horse: n for Eomer--who did redeem himself after that jerky "big brother" chat with his Primal Scream angst!

Sfox

I know I know.. however that was from the mistletoe thread... and we needed resolution..of sorts ;)

I must admit
with honesty absolute
Eomer in full armor
arouses thoughts dissolute

How to comb his
helmet horse-tailed
how to take off his
cuirasse oh-so-detailed

How to remove his
vambraces with horses upon it
and how to clean his
saddle so we can sit on it

how to unlace
his brown linen shirt
how to get rid
of ingrained grime and dirt

and now his hair
and skin is pristine
I'll end this poem
while it's still clean ;)

what is it about christmas that gets one mind thinking??

maybe because christmas is in summer and we expose a lot of flesh!!! =:) =:) =:)

You bring the nicest prezzies faramirgirl!!! :grouphug:

Hope all the Roharem are having a lovely Christmas(I will ignore Sh_wulff's comment about summer because its fricking freezing here Mr Bigglesworth!!! :thppt: ) and that if you didnt GET the EE, you at least get to WATCH it soon!

Eomer didnt want to raise a great big fuss,
But he had forgotten Eowyn's present for Christmas!
He really didnt know what to do,
And Faramir had already gotten her something blue.
So Eomer asked Sam for his GOOD recipe for stew!

 Singingfox, congratulations on 1000 posts! It is sad, though, that one must temporarily sacrifice one's green horsey shield to achieve that goal. Quick, on to 1500!

Hey sh_wulff, how are ya? Hope the classes are going OK. What is this "warm Christmas" business? ;)

Hello all :D

I had to stop in and drop off a sw00n as I saw The Bourne Supremacy the other night. Man, did Karl look good in that movie, or what?!? My jaw became dislocated several times as it was mostly on the floor during his parts of the movie. He looked nice and scowl-ly and it makes me want to

Huge Happy New Year's Eve sw  :horse: :horse: =:) n for Eomer today!!!! Dont know if I will be on later so I figured I would pop in now

Eomer decided to have a party to ring in the New Year.
And to it he invited all those he held dear.
All the hobbits, Faramir and Aragorn,
But to Legolas he had to warn,
"You better cut Gimli off because he cant hold his beer!"

Be careful tonight everyone--there are always idiots out trying to drive home after too much drinking!!! :woah:

Had to stop by and offer a New Year swoon for Eomer :D

Smor was kind enough to make me a Plushy!Eomer for Christmas. 'Twas a very nice Christmas gift. We watched all three EE's on New Year's day and there was lots of nice Eomer swooning going on for my part.

A huge happy sw :happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance: n for Eomer!!

GOLDPONY (with apologies to Shirley Bassey and Ian Fleming)

Goldpony!
He's the man...the man whose helm
My living room, overwhelms
BA BA BUM

Goldpony!
Golden growls he will purr in your ear
Neath a nosepiece that knocks you cold for a year

Could this all be a big mistake?
He can't even read, fer pete's sake!

Beware this nose of gold
His corpse is cold, he loves only mold....

Oops, hold on. Sorry. That's Theodred. :D

Goldponnnnyyy!
Beckons you to enter his stable of sin
But don't go in!
Don't go in!

Oh the ignonimy--poor Eomer has languished down near the bottom of the page for 4 whole days! :Q

How can we EVER make it up to the poor ignored man  ?

For Eomer, it has been a long and lonely 4 days.
To make it up to him, we will have to think of many ways.
And I bet he already has a long list,
Im sure you all already get the gist,
That many of them involve playing in the hay! :P

I have been SOOOO terrible in letting poor Eomer's thread languish down near the bottom of the page--I should have to wash all the :cavetroll: uniforms

Poor Eomer and his thread have been out of luck,
But its not really my fault that the weather does suck.
And now to make up for this terrible awful crime,
I will make him dinner and get a nice bottle of wine,

And now for a Public Service Announcement from the TOS

Oh sorry, where was I??? Uh I had better let that one go as "duck, pluck, tuck, buck, cluck and chuck" are really lame things to end a poem with
=:)

Huge early morning sw  =:) =:) :horse: n for Eomer!

How about schmuck? :P

Oh, my love is like a red, red rose
(Awashed in blood, I mean)
Oh, my love is like a melody
(A mumak's dying scream)

Oh, my love is like a babbling brook
(With treach'rous rocks beneath)
Oh, my love is like a shining smile
(With slavering, pointy teeth)

Oh, my love is quite dichotomous
Both sensitive and scary
My love is not just anyone
It's lovely Eomer-y

Gal and Sfox

I too have been neglecting him.. great poem there Galenmir too

along the rolling plains
he causes enemies great pain
but even with his grimy scowl
he tends the maiden over-bowl
and in great delight exclaim

errrk.. I've lost it today.. it's Gal's smiting Theodred tableau that has me distarcted

ps if you click on droolfest.. ya get lots of piccies of Eomer amongst others :D.. just thought of sharing the fun

Very nice Sh_wulff, one can never have TOO MUCH eyecandy

For the last 4 days, it had been terribly cold,
Even Theodred complained as it froze off his mold.

Eowyn cried to Eomer "Oh what shall we do?
Its so frigid in here my toes have turned blue!"

Eomer then said "I wish Gandalf hadnt smote that Balrog,
For then we could use him for heat and roasting a hog."

"It had better warm up soon" he said with his face turning red,
"For the men will all laugh if I take my horse with me to bed!"

Ok that was total silliness, but hey, I like THAT better than any serious poetry(which Im sure I would suck at anyway  ).

the weather has been strange of late
with sun and clouds and rain in streams
If Eomer were to appear he'd be in a state
he'd blithelystrip his clothes off and jump in to a stream

well that's what the weather is like

and I don't think Eomer would hang about in his armor either

II reckon skinny dipping is de rigeur for Rohirrim in summer... what say you?

Hmm Sh_wulff, now THERES a scene for the Extended Edition--The Bathing of the Rohirrim

Three days of watching Nick Jr ( I didnt know until THIS week that Nickelodian HAD another channel) has made my brains turn to mush--must recooperate over the weekend before I am able to write more silly poetry.

So I will just have to refresh my memory and go on a TTT and ROTK marathon and bask in the scowly goodness that is Eomer =:)

The only problem with Ghostship(ok wait, there are a LOT of problems with it but....) is that Karl is the obligatory "Sidekick who dies a horribly painful death" --there is always at least one in this kind of movie. Sometimes its the bumbling younger brother, or the token black man or the girl who wears too much makeup for a hike in the woods. So once you get past THAT, Karl is quite adorable in it--at least until....THE SCENE.....

You really really REALLY need to see The Price of Milk for a yummy Karl movie--KU running around ditching his clothes a lot  Why cant any of the dairy farmers around HERE look like THAT?????

Huge afternoon sw  =:) =:) :horse: n for KU!!!
