Hey! It's like old times in here this week! Congrats on your second TORC-aversary LadyRoh! May you swoon for many more.

And warm welcome back to miss idril! Even with a steady beau, you have to swoon once in awhile!

Glad you're feeling better Meli -- what a list! A great top ten. :)

Springtime swoony!

Thank you for your warm welcome. :)

Meli, I doubt my boyfriend will be as clueless as your husband... He's always on the watch for Viggo and Johnny Depp. ;) A great list you have there, couldn't have said it better myself. :P

Maeg, maybe it's my spring-feelings that demands some swooning.. :D =:)

I have a question for all ye... This is kind of bittersweet, but how much would you like to be Liv here?

You can double post as much as you like idril, especially when have such a goodie to share. :woah:

As for that other pic that included what's-her-name, let's say I'd like to do a little photo editing. I believe that I've taken that photo and cut someone out and put my picture in her place. One of my favorites in my LOTR scrapbook.

swooning for the Danish I'd enjoy morning, noon and night!!

It does feel like old times here with so many Aradorers with us Maeg. Hugs to you all, lurkers included!! :grouphug:

Yeah, Aragorn has got quite a back-up on the Legolas vs. Aragorn thread. A good ol favourite thread of mine, I have to say, in a new version and this time Aragorn is winning! Moahahahah! :D=:)

I'd love to DP a lot of nice lil piccies of the handsome man here, Meli, but I'm guessing I'd be getting the mods after me pretty soon. ;)

Hmmmm... I'll dream of Aragorn tonight I think. A good late

SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNN for King Elessar!

What I am upset about is Aragorn has not won the Man/Woman of the Month title in over a year... I made the case to some of the Fazguls earlier that their beloved Faramir would have died without HRH's healing hands, so they said that they would vote for Aragorn in April.

Muster the Rohirrim! Uh, I mean, Aradorers!

I hear what you are saying, idril and LoR. Our Kingly One needs to be duly regarded with honor as his position requires.

And so I charge all Elessarian sisters in swoondom to visit the man/woman of March thread and vote for The Crown Jewel. Remember that you can vote only once per day and you vote for a person different from the one you voted for last time.

March is my birth month, so it would be a wonderful way to gift our Kingly One, in hobbit fashion. Let's go vote, Aradorers!!

swooning for the Crown Jewel of my heart!!

*saddles her horse, blows her horn and joins the muster*

Sounds like a good idea LoR! :D I'm going to vote every day I can. I'm also glad the Fazguls have come to sense. ;)

A big afternoon swoon for Strider!

Maeg saddles up to find this "Man of March" thread... or are we waiting for April? Either way. I can drop a vote.

I believe meaningofhaste and PoI agreed to vote for Aragorn in April, but we can use this month as a warm-up for sure!

The trick is to vote everyday, but on the off-days vote for someone really obscure who won't get many votes anyway, i.e. Orc #587 and random Kings of Numenor. :)

Oooooooooh Vigggo!! *feels that she has found her spiritual home at last*

I was just wondering the other day actually .. how does he talk in real life? Does he have an American accent? A British one? A Danish one? In the films he sounds British but I doubt that that can be his real accent (though it was very well done..)

Sweet gem indeed Maeg!

He IS the crown jewel, you know.

SW   nworthy pic!!!

Swooning with my Elessarian sisters is gift enough for me, LoR. You gals are the best!!

Glad that you've found your spiritual home, IamMoose. It works for me as well. Where else can you find such acceptance and understanding....and wonderful pics to drool over?
I'm not sure about Vig's "accent" but I believe his regular voice is what you hear on A History of Violence. I think it's wonderful that he can speak several languages fluently. lHe speaks the language of love...to my heart.

I've seen him on Letterman -- very American, deep kind of quiet mumble to his voice -- quite sexy!!

I would swear I replied to this but my reply has gone :). I said I was a bit disappointed that he had an American accent .. not because I didn't like Americans but because I hoped that he'd have a sexy European accent :)

His voice is american-style but very sexy in my opinion. :woah:

But then again everything about him is sexy!!

American Yazooka
G I Jane
Hunt For Red October
Young Guns
Young Guns II
A Perfect Murder
A Walk On the Moon
Indian Runner

Know I am leaving some out. Help me gals!

Here's a link to a filmography(and some darn good pictures too!). There are too many credits to list!

I think his voice is sexy too Meli. Can't you just imagine that deep rumble close to your ear... oooohhhhh.... swoon! (as in dead faint!).

ETA: Whoops! I swooned so hard I forgot to include the link! Now it's there!

No one who admires the V-man will be shot, imprisioned or even put in time out.

I like him any and every way that he comes...........sure wish he'd come to me.

Warning! Corny swoon song to follow. Apologies to the Beatles for butchering their well-crafted song.

Help! I need a ranger!
Help! Not just any ranger!
Help! Where are you Aragorn?
H E L P!!!

When I was younger, long ago, back in the day.
The guys were cute, I had some fun, but none had any sway.
But now those days are gone and my heart is not my own.
The very essence of my soul now belongs to Aragorn.

Help me if you can, my Dunedain.
Oh my, you really are so fine.
I surely do want you to be mine.

Come to me,
Won't you please,
Aragorn
Aragorn, Aragornnnnn!!!!!

April fool-ish SWOON!

:) I, too, love him any way he comes, short hair, long hair, scruffy, clean; I am not picky.

On this day in April (and any other month or day) I'm a fool for that ruggedly handsome, noble, brave ranger king.

Swooning for the man I don't mind making myself a fool over. :P :happydance:

You have a point Moose. Along with the rugged good looks of the ranger there is the nobility, the loyalty, and the good heart of Aragorn. He is swoon worthy!
