Man/Woman of January -- it's a New Year!

Postby Ugluk » Tue Jan 01, 2008 7:54 pm

Rules:

1) You can only vote once a day *
2) You can't vote for the same person two days in a row **
3) You must state why you voted for the person
4) Person must be Lord of the Rings/Tolkien related
5) Votes must be in bold
6) You can't vote for Bard because he won last month

* This applies to whatever time zone you are in. Even if the TORC time works out so according to it you're posting within the same day, it doesn't matter. But don't abuse your authority.
** This means you may not vote for the same person consecutively. If you vote for Frodo Monday and do not vote at all Tuesday, than you cannot vote for Frodo on Wednesday.

I think this is the year for the underdogs: the Moth, Bert and most notably Painfully Dropped Gondorian Soldier, a.k.a. Melvin :D

But WHY is the rum always gone?

A vote today for the one and only Beren, who, without any doubt whatsoever, wins at life.

Fingolfin because he led his people to cross the Helcaraxe and it has been cold here for the last few days - it is not that cold in truth but in comparison to the mild winter we had before it feels like the Ice.

Swimming...why was the first thing I thought "It is SO cold!" although I realise that you probably did not swim outside.

Isildur because he really should have listened to his elders more ;).

Melvin the painfully dropped Gondorian soldier because he's left out of all the history books.
