The second volume of <u>Tolkien Studies: An Annual Scholarly Review</u> is due out in May. The first volume which appeared last year was very high quality and I look forward to this one. It can be <a href='http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?tag=theonering&creative=9325&camp=1789&link_code=ur2&path=tg/detail/-/B00026EHDI/qid=1114709376/sr=8-3/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i3_xgl153?v=glance%26s=magazines%26n=507846"' target=_blank>pre-ordered from Amazon</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=theonering&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px important!" />. <p>I <em>preordered</em> this from Amazon but it hasn't even been shipped yet. As soon as it does come, I will read it and post a review. Has anyone else gotten a copy yet? </p>

<p>I received the book yesterday, June 13. At more than 300 pages, it is rather longer than vol. 1. As soon as I have finished it, I will put a review in the scholarly pursuits section of the reading Room. </p>
