Ryn, you betcha. Prayers coming your way. And don't worry about not being here. Things get in the way. Priorities need to be in their proper places. Don't feel bad, it's just nice to see you when you are here.
Nim, I understand that feeling. I've felt it before, myself.
Solo, that's right, you sometimes have a Scotish accent! And thanks for dropping by. I haven't been to TST for the longest time. I'm so sorry. I just really need to be working on my book now, and don't have much time to play.
Tari, oh, it looks like you've been captured! I'd come rescue you, but it looks like you're having fun anyway!
Annië, It's good to see you! Have fun in Elite Insane!
Judy, yes, life does do that. |

Willow ~ Again, it looks like you had a blast!
Tari ~ Glad it was the good kind of capture. And yes, I do recall saying that and you all thought I was crazy. Now you know I'm not! Yay!
Ani ~ That as Briliant
Lalaith ~ Yes, I love them to death, but past three days... that little... oh my goodness! How's the book coming?

Thank you love. They are very much appreciated. Well, it hasn't so much been, priorities, so to say, just that I got lazy and forgetful, and distracted by not-so-good parts of life, if you know what I mean. It says a lot that I am always welcomed back here.
Judy
Thanks darlin. Life does have an annoying habit of getting in the way, doesn't it? I wish it would stop.
Tari
Good to see you again as well, dear...it's been too long, I know.
I'm off to do nothing now...*is excited* *not really*

Don't worry about it, dear...I don't get upset about those kinds of things, seeing as I'm the worst of anyone. My story was called Slow Comes the Morning...and it needs MAJOR rennovation. Which, I have been vowing to do for ages, and never got around to it. I only posted 8 chapters of it, some of which was decent, some of which sucked thoroughly. I really, truly want to work on it again, make it as good as I want it to be, and repost it...who knows if that will happen though.
As for my life...it never used to be this way...then I turned 16, and things began to go downhill, then I turned 17, and it started going downhill more rapidly. Thanks for the those guys are SO cute, they never cease to make me grin from ear to ear.
Everyone
Below is a poem I wrote, which explains in much greater detail how I've been feeling, and what my life has been like. Please be honest with your reviews.
"A heat, a rising rage, like a subtle ember in my soul
Grows and burns, scalding me in my cage.
A fleeting spark of pain flickers in my eyes
A glimpse of someone haunted by others' ghosts
Echoes in my mind of a thousand sighs
Their triumph over me proudly boasts
Floating through a day without a smile
Something taken from me I doubt I could get back
Just wanting to know you for a while
My mind refusing to wrap around the fact
This driving beat of my broken heart
Causing me to forget my own voice
With you I never thought I would part
This pain, this rage was not my choice
I'm sorry for what I never did
I tried so hard to heal you
Now from me you have hid
My heart will always stay true"
I have more too, which, if you like, I could post at some point. I'm very bored...

Yes, I am insanely bored because I'm here again. But I did forget to ask
Lalaith
I was just wondering if at some point, you would be willing or able to be sort of a beta for me on my story? It could use a lot of help and expert input, which I know you have. I know you are insanely busy, so absolutely no hard feelings if you just can't, I just admire your writing so much that I would appreciate it if you could ever help me at all. I gave out my email, so, feel free to write me...
So cute. I shall call him Squishy, and he shall be mine, and he shall be my squishy.

Nimmie
(sorry, I was in a cute mood, and nimmie is just cute) I LOVE that movie...it never gets old. Saddest thing is, I'm SO like Dori.
Thanks for your comment on my poem...here's another that I actually like, which is a rare occurence.
"I thought I heard raindrops tonight
Perhaps echoes of my soul
I thought I saw stars so bright
But there was only night black as coal
I thought I knew you inside out
Perhaps I never really did
I thought I heard you loudly shout
But when I tried to help, you hid
I thought I helped you all those years
Perhaps my words of love went unheard
I thought I dried your salty tears
But maybe that was unobserved
I thought my soul was light as day
Perhaps it tricked me too
I thought this joy would never go away
But it did, just like you"
And another!
"Years it seems since I saw your eyes
Though only months it's been
And since I heard you laugh, my love,
I really can't remember when
My mind play tricks and tells me lies
And for a moment I believe again
I forget all you've said and done
That a bit of my soul each day dies
Without you, I forget my own eyes
My life took a turn for the worse
Even though my love never dies (for you, my love)
It's your name I'll forever curse
I'll never forget the day I lost your light
A flame snuffed out inside
Leaving my mind in this dark blight
A pain that I could not hide"
And I don't think my story is necessarily bad or anything, it's just not as good as I want it to be..and a lot needs to be changed about it.

Judy and Nimmie
Yeah, it's deep. It's just that, when I try to just tell people how I'm feeling, it never comes out right, you know? It's much easier when I put it into poetry, or even just into one of my stories, as something my character is going through, you know? It's easier to express myself that way. And, everything tends to get a
bit
exaggerated in poems, but, that's why they're good therapy to write.
You guys are great...

Hey, when I was about your age (or what I think is your age) I was writing poems
all
the time --- angst of life onto the page, couldn't do it enough. But I've only written... hmmm... maybe one poem in the past 10 years. Maybe I got it out of my system |

Tari, and how are you going to fling mud pies and stuff, if you have your hands handcuffed?
Willow, Ah! It looks like you had lots of fun!
Nimmie, It's coming faster than it was before. But still rather slowly. Having 2 of my four kids back in school is helping.
Ryn, I think I know exactly what you mean. As for being a beta reader, I would very much like to, and help with what I can. I am not sure I remember your email, but here's mine: loralee_evans@yahoo.com. Email me whenever, about anything. Your poems are very lovely and heartfelt.
Judy, I wrote poems all the time for the same reasons. It was very theraputic. Being a teenager was a tough and awkward time for me. I would probably have gone insane and gone and robbed a bank or at least a small convenience store if I didn't have poetry as an outlet.
(This page where you write your comments has change for me. Has it changed for other people, or am I just the odd one?) |

Ryn ~ I write stuff like that...or at least, I used to, before I met the guy of my dreams. Before him I was always writing poetry about what happened to me in a love triangle. That was a beautiful time... Not really,no...
Judy ~ You did too? Must be a teenage girl thing.
Lalaith ~ I'm glad it's going, and I can see how that would be a help. And no, the page hasn't changed for me. Hope all's okay.

Luthie~ No prob hun!
-----> that's too fun!
I used to write lots of poetry, very dark, angsty, I hate the world and everything in it sort of poetry, but poetry all the same. Now I'm reduced to fanfiction and other stuff.
HI all, by the way! I'd reply but I'm rather sick right now, my head feels like it's gonna explode, so I'll just nod my head and smile.
hey look! There's a dead fly in between two keys of the keyboard! Wow. oh...sorry. I'm really tired and want to sleep, but I've done nothing all day on account of the fact that I'm sick so I really shouldn't sleep until bedtime, but that's four hours away and Lewis and I still have to go to the store. *gasps for breath* Anyway...I think I have a new secret lover and Lewis and Snape are not to know this.

Hey, guys,
Lalaith: You are too smart.
Nim: LOL. It is a fairly recent thing that I noticed - I thought that he was sick at first but he was dreaming. Does Mithril ever get jealous? Pippin and Thumper's cages are next to each other - we let Thumper run around on the floor - he always sits next to his cage. Well, I was sitting beside him brushing his coat then Pippin started biting the bars so I turned round to rub his nose. Then Thumper came round my side and put his paws in my lap. This continued for a little while - both of them wanting attention - then Thumper bit my leg. Would you like another rabbit?
Ryn: It really has been too long!! Everyone's missed you!!
Dubs: I really hope you feel better soon!!!
Babesweetangel put me onto this thing called Skype where you can talk to people regardless of where they live by calling their computer - and it is free! I spoke to Thiri in Brazil last night for ages. If anyone has it, add me: my name is tari_star
Better head off to Elite Insane - I have a feeling that if I don't show face Ani might kidnap me again.

Nim: Teenage girl thing? Quite possibly
I've just received word that Chapter 33 of White Lady of Rohan is up in the Reading Room. This may not mean much to those of you who haven't read any of the other stuff, but the old timers will be all up to date and happy to see the new chappie.
And don't forget to commment (if the system lets you ) |

Nim, Well, the page is back to normal for me, too. All's well. I have a booksigning today.
Dubs, I hope you get better.
Tari, and don't let her handcuff you. No fair not to be able to fling mud aorund!
Judy, oh yippie! I shall go look. Comment if I can. If not, I'll come back here and edit this to let you know what I think.
EDIT
: Oh, waa! It still won't take my comments! Dangit! Well, this is what I tried to write, Judy:
Lovely! Thank you for posting, Judy! This probably won't post, but I'll try. I am so glad Beregond and Meren are finally in love. And I agree, Eowyn would never be so dishonorable or selfish as to agree to marry a man she couldn't say she loved. But it's nice to have Aragorn there to help Faramir remember that!
And of course, it was most deserving of a five! |

Tari ~ No...actually, we only have one rabbit now, so she's pretty content. But that's really cute about your rabbits! I don't know what my mom would say to another rabbit...probably not.
Judy ~ That's what my guess was. and.... YAYNESS! *bounces over to the reading room* If it wont let me comment, I'll post it in here, okay? Thanks sweetie pie!
Lalaith ~ have fun at the booksigning! And, what was wrong with it?

Hello all...
So why am I on at 10 pm, when I'm sick and have to get up at 6 am in the morning? Becaues my Nyquil hasn't kicked in yet and I don't like to sleep until I'm falling asleep, if you know what I mean. Otherwise my mind tends to wander to places I don't want it to go.
Lalaith
Thank you, lovely! I appreciate it, and, when I feel less lazy, I will try and email you with my story problems and issues...of which there are many. And once again, the prayers are so appreciated, I'm in great need of them. *sighs* I re-read one of the old chappies the other day, it made me reminisce fondly....
Tari
Good to know you all don't forget about me, that you really do miss me! I always miss you guys, I'm just too lazy and busy to get around to coming on here but once in a while, then I come on for a few weeks straight, then I'll probably disappear again!
Judy
Yeah, that's kind of how it is for me with poetry too...I'll write like, 10 new poems in a week or so, then I won't write anymore for months and months...I can't force them out of me, they have to be very natural!
Nimmie
So glad you have the guy of your dreams! Love triangles suck...well, I've never been in one, but, in books and stuff... Love, darling...
All for now...

Ryn ~ Well... I don't actually "have" him. But I've met him, and that's all that it takes. SW N. No, that was not a fun experience at all.... made me want to puke, that's all I can say. Luv ya!
Judy ~ I loved it! Wonderfully written, and Meren and Beregrond are so adorable! Thanks for writing it.

Nim: Lol. You and I are in the same boat - I won't be allowed anymore pets after Thumper and Pippin. Ah well. I would love to get a dog - a Springer Spaniel I think they're gorgeous - but unfortunately my parents work all day and I am at school. It would be unfair, you know? But I am watching my cousin's dog, Misty, for two weeks next month. She is lovely - really gentle and playful.
Judy: I read your latest chapter. I really loved it!!! It is a shame that the comments are not working properly - you would have lots of lovely reviews. It really is nice to see you writing again. I love your story!
Ryn: I know how you feel. Life can be really demanding sometimes. My friend Ani and I have been feeling a little Anti-TORC and just do not have the energy to post. But I do not think that anyone can forget TORC. As long as you post whenever you can and let us know that you are all right I think that's all that matters really! |

Tari, thanks! It was a little slow. Very nice Saturday with everyone outside, and not wanting at all to go to a bookstore. But the store manager was a nice guy.
Nim, well, you know the parchment looking backing that's usually there? It was gone. But now it's back.
Ryn, sounds good. I'll be waiting.
Judy, I hope he can do something about it, soon. |

Lalaith ~ Huh. that's wierd...
Tari ~ That's the main reason for us too, we're not home often enough. I really think that Chows are adorable! My gramma has a Lab-Chow mix, and he's so cute! Have fun dog-sitting.
Judy ~ I know, this really stinks...my last chapter was like that too, the only one without a comment. Hope Jonathon can fix it.
