I went to dragon con in 2002 and had a blast!! I met up with Parador~J, Speaker to Animals, Eledaia, and several other TORCers. We saw all kinds of cool stuff. We saw some weird stuff too. There were loads of Imperial Soldiers and Darth Vadar.

I would like to attend one of these events one of these days. Maybe when The Hobbit comes out there will be a cool party (and we will have enough time/money to go).

According to the official website, here are the convention dates for this year, if anyone's interested:
Dragon*Con 2010 will be held Labor Day weekend (September 3 - September 6, 2010) in Atlanta, GA.

I went in 09 and saw The One Ring booth. I have a t-shirt from the first time tolkienonline went to dragon con, and wore it, went to buy a shirt from the one ring booth, only to realize after I walked away it was theonering.net

I was just wondering if anyone has ever been to Dragon Con before and/or if they intend on giong this year? I was interested in going but I really have no ides what is going to be like. Thanks so much!
