May I request an entry?

My nickname - Bardy, short for Bardhwyn (not to be confused with the Bard of Renown, Hue ;) )

:) Thanks!

heliona :)

Lovely to see you again my friend.

:hihi: to the New TORCers

The abbreviated version of your username is a term of endearment.

It takes a bit less time ( when responding to you ) to acknowledge you
but it is so special and personal.

I loved when TORCers started calling me just FT. I still do. I knew then I was accepted into this wonderful messageboard.

Much love to

Earnil...for taking the time to continue

and to

sandy who still helps it continue.

Very good TORCers they remain in my heart.

Thanks again

Earnil

and

sandy

More than I can relay in mere words...Words fail to relay..fall so far short...of my appreciation and respect.

Oh wow I had never noticed that my nickname had been added amongst the ones of such posters of great renown as Bardhwyn, erinhue, SilverScribe.
I am honoured   truly.

Hey Sid.

I am proud to say..I started this thread..not long after I joined TORC.

Earnil said...
I would like to offer many thanks to FrodoTook for putting in so much time and effort to create this large and comprehensive list.:)

Earnil
..a dear friend of mine, took over stewardship of this thread back when I was away from TORC for extended periods of time when I was driving a Big Rig.

I remain gladdened he did..and I miss
Earnil.

I initiated a collection of abbreviations and acronyms with much love and appreciation of my fellow The Orcers.

And remain grateful to Earnil for saving the original..for sharing it again..and for enhancing it.

Thank you Earnil. I remember you well and do miss sharing thoughts with you.

Sid

As you now know...when you get a nickname ( or many of them )..folks find you endearing.

A compliment, my friend.

Well met..again.

Why "Ron", Sidewalk?

I am Melwa, but I go by Melly (preferred) or Mel (the obvious one)(and occasionally Marshmellow) as well.

Hey there Mallow! (haven't called you that for a while :D). My family and close friends call me Ronnie, so Ron's fine as well. :D

Indeed FT. Thanks for telling some more of TORC-history. I like knowing more about this place.I feel more connected. ;)

I haven't looked on this thread before - there's a lot to take in!

Is this the place to lay down nickname preferences then?

If members don't want to be bothered with putting MeadowForest, I don't mind Meadow or Mead.

Thanks. :)
