Maybe we should do a countdown, as usual?

FIVE

MoME 2009 is over. Congratulations to the winners!

The Sons of Fëanor re-embodied in the beginning of the Fourth Age? Yes, for The Maedhros and Tygarya Saga – and, as fire-hearted as ever!

On my way to Minas Tirith on the Walk to Rivendell and Beyond !

My LJ , now featuring Photo of the Week among other things.

FOUR

(What are we counting down to?)

Pirates I have known...

Yes, James and I go way back. I knew him before he was rescued by Jack's father. Poor James. He spent the rest of his life trying to make it up to his pompous old fart of a father, who wasn't worth a fig, if you asked me, the way he treated his wife and mistresss. I should know...but that's another story for another time. Wink

I think to minus two would be ample. Wink

However, I do think down to a positive one would suffice. Cool

TWO

OB, the system is to count down from 5 to 1, if someone who has guessed right doesn't show up with a new one-liner in a few days. Whoever gets "one" can post the next one. Smile

Isn't that when Frodo and Sam are in Cirith Ungol and he (Sam) suggests that their password be "Elbereth"?

Is it Gandalf to Frodo, about what would happen if he took the ring?

It's in reply to Sam, isn't it? Is it Faramir at Henneth Annun?

Somehow, it sounds to me like it's about taking the Ring and using it, though... Is it Galadriel, then?

The speaker is Aragorn (to Pip and Merry in Isengard), right at the beginning of the chapter "Flotsam and Jetsam".

"Do you really mean to start before the break of day?"

I hope this is suitably easy to find, cause I won't be here till well into next week for any confirmations. Sad But I will be having fun in the meantime. Smile

Glad that you'll be having fun Canamarth Smile

That, I am assuming, is Pippin (or Fatty Bolger?) at Crickhollow as the conspiracy talks about setting off with Frodo the following morning.

Here is another:
