oh that's funny. I have to wonder if it was supposed to be funny. I don't speak hindi, but judging by some of those erratic, cartoon like dance movements, I really hope it was intended to be humorous...

The Indian artist in question is well known for both his humorous and technically sophisticated dancing - so yes, it was meant to be humorous. Though he is certainly poking fun at Indian pop culture - particularly the Bollywood aesthetic - which is full of the kind of exaggerated, bordering on completely ridiculous schmaltz you see in that video. Different culture - different tastes. Though there is certainly much in American pop culture that is cartoonish and bordering on unacceptable as well!

Agreed (in fact, a South Indian friend of mine asked the same thing!). In any event, the guy is a comedic dancer for sure - poking fun at Bollywood. There are some other hilarous music videos of his out there. And I think the song is in Tamil, not Hindi.

Those lads sure seem to be angry about something! I think the 2nd group is probably upset about being out in the snow without proper coats and galoshes. Between the weather and all that growling, they're gonna need some Riccola lozenges...

For anyone interested, there is also a band named Battlelore who does Power, Epic metal all based on Tolkien's work. Half the band dresses up as elves and the other half is comprised of an orc, half orc and sorcerer. Here is a link to then live performing Sons of the Riddermark:

Yes, but I couldn't find a decent looking video from them that was Tolkien themed. Their first 2 albums were heavily Tolkien but they began to become less and less so as they went on.
