It does not belong to Gondor, and it is not associated with men, elves, hobbits or dwarves.

To recapitulate:
A place
In LotR
East of Anduin
Associated with Good
Inhabited
Not particularly close to water.
It does not have to do with the Rohirim
It does not belong to Gondor
Not associated with men, elves, hobbits or dwarves.
I have no idea what this can be.......
Is it in FotR, TT or RotK? |

I am stumped since the Ents and Fangorn are on the West of the Anduin. I honestly, even looking at a map, see nothing in LoTR that can be associated with good and not one of these peoples and be East of the Anduin. |

It does not deal with the Ents or Fangorn.
It is mentioned in FotR, as is (hint!) the particular character associated with it. |

I was thinking the Barrow Wight but that doesn't work either - it's the wrong book.
And WEST of the Misties is really doing my head in |

All I can think of now is the King of the Dead, but he wasn't exactly west of the Misties. |
