OCC-For There and Back Again

Erinhue's ring is Mythweaver, Air Ring of the Wordsmith. It's stone is a small chip of limestone , same as the Blarney Stone, which seemed very appropriate for a bard.

It is a Ring of Power ( from theTORC Guild) and it's main power is its ability to carry or transfer the feelings, emotions projected by its wearer and project them outward to those who listen. It is, in part (a small part the Bard would say) responsible for Erinhue's reputation of being Middle Earth's Most Famous Bard, mainly proclaimed by him.

Mythweaver is an Air Ring of Power and as such there could be a trick or three within its white gold band....like glowing green in the presence of lost items of power.

Here's the deal with the sword. Erinhue is like Bruce Banner and The Incredible Hulk. You won't like him when he's angry.... but fortunately that does not happen often and the Bard has had lots of practice keeping his temper in check. Way back when The Bard joined the Mithril Knights a powerful elven Lady placed a charm on the possessed blade to protect the Bard's friends when The Berserker was called..... and if that happens look out, he will kill everything in sight. The charm is being tested in the current MK thread but this one is set at a time when the charm of protection is, shall we say a lot more reliable than it is in the MK thread at this moment.

OK lets see, sword, harp, ring. Yep that should do it Now yer all up ta speed on The Bard.

The Lucky Fortune Inn is located along side the Great East Road right before the Last Bridge that crosses the River Hoarwell. It is east of WeatherTop and west of the Trollshaws( the woods just west of Rivendell)

Return of the Witch-King. I like it. We could all think that we are The One, is anyone in this bunch really a man anyway? we gots me and the Last Great Eagle, a wizard a lady archer with at least some elven blood, a hobbit...... wow what a mix, Witch King, look out.

Thanks this should be interesting, I put in a lot of thought in who to bring back. CR I was glad when you brought Pallando on this journey, Gandalf will not becoming due to the fact I don't think I can write for a wizard, especially one as famous and well written as Gandalf. He'll show up from time to time, to start the next phase of the adventure, but thats a long way off. So if anyone has ideas concerning the exact powers of the witch king please do tell.

I'll think on it but right off the top of my head I am thinking his power is cold and ice based as opposed to Erinhue/the Champion who, like Agarak is a fire based entity. I began this way back with Barad-Dur who say the evil power as cold fire I believe it was. Since the Witch King's base is so near or actually in Fornorts the cold thing figures..... but I will admit that is partly self interest being that fire based entity.

Interesting. What time are we in for this story? I take it it's the fourth age, but when in it?

Don't know what Bilbo had in mind but generally here Fourth Age is not so far removed from the Fall of the Ring that there is complete peace orcs and other servants of evil still linger. I can't think of a thread that began beyond the reigh of King Elessar not to say that it has not happened or could not happen, that is just the best I recall about the general range projected into the Fourth Age.

That makes sense. And thank you, Bilbo. I have a lot of leeway having one of the lesser-known wizards of the order. Even Radagast is too well known to work in this.

He is quite the gem CR, Its in the fourth age, and I agree with the cold but ill probably add something else, due to the fact that we have Mythril Knights, powerful harps, a great eagle, Elves, and Bartolomeo. I will be putting some brain power towards it.

Not ta worry Bilbo m'lad, I do not let Agarak get out of hand with its powers. I will not have a platoon of warriors pop out of a cloud or have threatening enemies suddenly turn to whipped cream or anything. Not to say the Harp does not get into the mix ever, but you have seen the general extent that I will use Agarak's magic.

That entrance was nothing, you should see me host the White Council Awards show but half the time that is how Erinhue travels. I gots me a nice painted pony, Treble, to ride around on the other half of the time. Since Agarak is a Maia and virtually all powerful It could just solve all reason for adventures and put an end to any conflict or confrontatiion basically remove any obsticle, but like I said, where's the fun in that. For the most part I play a more or less serious RP in a more or less serious fashion. I made a deal with Jon a long time ago and I still keep my word.

I did not wish to imply that Agarak's power would take out the witch king , but to say that a grandeur enemy would be needed to set the tone for the story. the piece de resistance to the adventure if you will. I'm thinking beside cold, he will play on the weaknesses and fears of each of us, so as we travel through the cold fortress of cur dum each of us is confronted with fears, and everyone will help each other ect, in till we face the witch-king in some icy peak and lonely dungeon. I'm still brain storming something special for the fight scene
