Two Thumbs Up for noise-canceling headphones! And I just listened to Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine on a mix CD in the car! Good stereo stuff!
Here are some more coolish stereo tracks... I've enjoyed Mumford and Sons since October 2009 when they released their album called Sigh No More. Of all the songs on it, every one a good one, I always liked one in particular called Thistle and Weeds.
Another Gotye song that is quite good is Hearts a Mess. Good stereo effects throughout, but especially when the song deconstructs at about 3:20. This radio edit has a great video.
The subtle stereo effects of 'Slip Kid' by The Who is pretty darn nice. Love the original analog LP recording!
This instrumental interpretation of Scarbourgh Fair by Blackmoore's Night has a soothing quality to it. The stereo effects are also quite nice!
