And, Too Big's back! Yes, life happens, and it is exciting at times. Hope you can be around again now!

Let's see what has changed since we last posted together TooBig.....

Well I got married! Guru asked me it will be 2 years ago on Dec. 23rd to be his wife and I said yes. So we started planning for an August of 08' wedding. In March of 08' I had to be rushed to surgery in Seattle because my aorta fell apart. I am fine now. It was scary though. It appears to be heredity thing in my family. It happened to my mom in Dec. 06' and now they found that my daughter has the potential as well. So they are monitoring her and taking precautions.

My grand daughter is in gymnastics and has her sites on the Olympics in 6 years. So far she has won an award or medal or trophie at just about every competition she has been in. She even went to Hawaii in January of this year and got the third place trophy. She has been to state also and tied for 6th overall. This was just her first year of gymnastics too. She has moved up a level already and has her first meet this Friday. They expect great things of her. She has broke records for the Gymnastics club that she is in too. Can you tell I am very proud of her?

I got laid off November of 08 because our employer decided to retire. I got hired by Petco in January and was promoted to a management position in July. I enjoy the job greatly most days. The money is the best I have ever made too. I even got insurance that is very good. My health is remaining good and I have not had to see my specialist for Lupus in over a year. I see the Cardiologist again in January and then he will decide if we can go to a once a year appointment. So far it has been every 6 months or less since my surgery.

*slowly, curiously peeks around the front door looking to see if anyone is around. noticing that all the furniture is covered in sheets and a layer of dust*

*stares at the sheets for just a few seconds before pulling them off the furniture, dust flying everywhere*

Well now, this won't do. I just find out about this wonderful place and when I get here it looks to have been abandoned.

Now that the dust has settled, I guess I have my work cut out for me to get this place cleaned up and open for business again. It would be a shame to let it lie abandoned and falling to ruin.

Vana wanders in with bags of groceries in each arm. She sees that someone has left the front door open and has been removing the furniture coverings and sweeping up the cobwebs and dust.

"Hello!!" Vana listens and hears humming coming from the other room. Meekly she peers into the kitchen and sets her bags on the kitchen counters.

"Hello and welcome to the Eldar's Guild!" Vana smiles shyly, "I am sorry there was no one here to meet you when you came. I was away this weekend for a wedding. I am Vana and I guess I am the one who keeps an eye on this place though no one has really been here for a while. Welcome and can I help you with anything?"

Hey Rowan darlin!!! Nice to see you popping in again. It sure has been a while since we had our last barbecue and party here.

I wonder what FT is up to these days?

Feeling rather hungry and a bit lost, rwhen remembers that she is near the guild house for the Eldars. She figures that she will have to do some cleaning, but the kitchen is always open. Happy to see that the lights are on and there are voice coming through the window, rwhen rushes in and finds Vanadarlin', Rowan and ArwenCat setting the place to rights.

Hey ladies. Nice to see the joint back up and working again.

Good idea to pull the thread back into action ArwenCat.

Vanadarlin', I got a "nudge" from Effffff Teeeeee last week and then couldn't find him on FaceBook, which I don't go to anyway, but I will try again.

*grabs some bread, cheese and a knife and starts to make sandwiches for everyone*

*opens the cabinet and takes out some nice crystal goblets for the wine*

It's been centuries since I've been able to get my hands on a good Dorwinion Red. I'll have one of those sandwiches, too. I'm afraid I got so involved cleaning that I forgot to stop to eat.

No worries ArwenCat. I also forget my PW on PB. Recently though I have been able to sign in under my MSN email account. That has made it easier for me.

Scotspine I would be careful if I were you. What you are doing is spamming all the threads for EntwifeLost. She is not hear at the moment and the moderators could get a bit grumpy so please be careful.

I have responded that she is not around right now and if you just left her a notice in the Ent thread that she would get back to you when she does come in. That is still my best advice for you!!

Being that I have mainly posted in Guilds all my Torc Life with a few additions to an occasional RP thread, - I thought I'd do some memory lane walks and saw the light on here. It has been too long and these hallowed halls housed my mid-life mangled muse many months and moons.
Needless to say- the muse has been on an extended hiatus, ergo my absence from the board in general and specifically these hallowed halls. To make a long winded introductory entrance short, that is to say, well I am not exactly new so it wouldn't be introductory unless one considers the freshness of the year... uh... whoops...there I go again...

We are and how about you folks? Did you have a great Holiday Season with a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year? I am just thankful that they are gone now and I have a year before I have to worry about dealing with them again.

You bet, the holidays came and went in a flash! Though we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, I think I made a pork roast or at least a special meal.
It was good especially for the kids to have the time off, to relax and not have to hit the books. I'm glad that the holiday rush is over, however I just wish time would slow down and ease up the pace a bit.

Crys grabs a hot mug of chocolate and settles into a stripey wingbacked chair with a good reading lamp next to it.

rwhen slides through the bamboo hangings, careful not to dump her tray of fruit and sandwiches...two ladies are by the pool, hanging out - reading and chatting.....

"Oh ladies, this will not do at all. Grab up some food and follow me. It appears that someone with a strange sense of humor decided to put all the books on the shelves from Z-A and you know that will grate on Efff Teee's last nerve. So before he gets here, how about's we put it right again.." rwhen narrowed her eyes.... "unless it was one of you who disturbed the library?"

She lowered her head and looked down over the top of her glasses at the two stunned ladies. An expectant silence was followed by the tapping of one shoe....

"Well.....????"

*Jumps up and dashes to the bookcase and looks at the situation* Hm... I think this looks like a bit of mischief meant to disturb us. I wonder what else about is out of order and needs attention?

Crys looks down and shuffles her feet uncomfortably. She sighs under the withering gaze of Rwhen, and clears her throat..

Uh... um... it might have been me... .... Uh, really no mischief intended. I was trying to figure out how to post things after having been gone so long, and I was pressing buttons and all, trying to set up the control panel, ...uh...um.... and I guess I must have pushed the View in Decending order button.....uh... twice... uh and I guess a tad too hard. I thought I heard kind of a whooshing noise but thought someone had entered the guild or left a window open. I honestly didn't realize it was wired to the bookshelves
I'll gladly set my mistake straight and in order again.... Sorry.... (newb-me)

Crys heads into the library after grabbing an apple and a sandwich off the tray. I'll need some sustainence though...
