Guardians of the Galaxy

I just saw the preview of a summer release from Marvel: The Guardians of the Galaxy:

If it's anything like the preview, it promises to be spectacular.

And I fell in love with Rocket Raccoon the instant I saw him.

Happy New Year!

Meneldor, Warrior Bard, and Brondgast, Mithril Knights

Gwaeryn and Robin, The Expected Party

Meneldor, Alatar and Pallando, Darkness Reigns: The Resistance

I likes me a good comic book movie but I'm not to optimistic about Marvel dipping into their bag of C-list characters for a movie

That is a great trailer. Love the tone they've gone for. Can't wait to see how it fits in with the rest of the wider Marvel Movie Universe.

Good cast too. I think Chris Pratt and Peter Serafinowicz, in particular, are excellent.

And it has a Space Raccoon.

What's not to be excited about?

It is not easy to do satire on this far out level. As I am pleased with what Marvel has done so far, I wish it well.

This is what I'm looking forward to. The rest of the film could be rubbish and I'd probably still enjoy it. :D ;)
