My younger brother, who is back to crashing on my couch until he looks for a new job closer to home, dragged me to see Logan last night. I can see why the US gave it an R rating. Very VERY violent and bad language. So Hugh has hung up his claws for good now.

Also got to see Aladdin this week, friend got some discount tickets as the show is about to move to Melbourne. It was fabulous. We had the understudy go on as teh Genie, but he was amazing! My friend, who has seen the show 3 times already, said Troy was just as good as the normal Genie guy, just did the role a bit differently and that's what made it work for him.

Tooks, yes enjoying shows. I had a look at what Broadway was touring in the cities I'd be visiting in the US. Finding Neverland will be on in Orlando when I'm there, but it's so far from my hotel (about an hour) that the taxi fare would be more than the show ticket. Hamilton is on in Atlanta. Fairly sure it's already sold out. I have seen a bootleg copy of the show and while what Lin has done is totally amazing, not the biggest fan of rap. And I'd want to see the original cast. Leslie Odum Jr has an amazing voice. But it's a great way to interest kids in US history.
I am contemplating shows in Vegas. And the top of my list is an Aussie group: Human Nature. I can see them here (though the tickets are cheaper there) so I should see something that won't come to Oz. Maybe CIrque Du Soliel or even Donny and Marie? Are they still kicking around? I saw their tv show as a kid.

I am expecting New Orleans to be hooooomid! I have a movie/literary walking tour booked. It would be cool to see Scott Bakula on the NCIS set. Also booked in an Oak Alley Plantation tour. Thinking of a paddlesteamer cruise as well but will see when I get there.

I should go put my sheets and towels in teh dryer as they aint' gonna dry inside the house! 3 weeks of rain is enough for a while.

There is a squirrel that lives in the big maple tree in my backyard. I wish I had had a camera I saw this squirrel running up the tree with this sweet potato in its mouth. I have no idea where he snagged this thing and the sweet potato was nearly as big as the squirrel itself. It ran up and out of my sight well hidden to enjoy its stolen treat. Way cool Go Super Squirrel
