Also wondering if I should unlock my phone before I leave rather than use my own global roaming company? I don't plan on calling home too often and can use the wi-fi in the hotels so I don't need data. And the tour companies all have my actual phone number...if they need to let me know about stuff.
Hi Toby!!!
I have had worse, back in the late 80's it was down to 60c in the dollar. Should not have gone. I was hoping that the Presidential election would have made the US dollar better for me, but it stayed the same. The pound is usually very strong against my dollar, but right now with the Brexit thingy hanging over them, it is about 56c in the dollar, which is better than half and that is decent for us. I will get a better rate for my days in NZ.It is indeed a gloomy exchange rate.

I've not being paying any attention to the TVM this month. Sorry! And I have a great "G" that could have gone in my signature, but I'm sure I'll manage to squeeze it in somewhere else later on (I'll put it on for a wee while, anyway).
The letting agent didn't turn up for the inspection yesterday, and neglected to tell us that they weren't going to, so that was nice!Still, the house looks great now (although there some important has been tidied away, which I will have to go and find soon!).
Star Wars month ... hmm. I shall see what I can come up with.
Hey billabob.
