For the Fallen but not Forgotten of TORC III

Just as Tolkien and the Inklings used to meet at The Bird and the Baby, come in here to converse about whatever might be on your mind. This is the place for all off-topic conversation.

Is it a good thing to remember those posters who are no longer posting???? For me...it is a good thing. An affirmation that they were "here" and made an impression.

I remember Star of Hope today.....she got to 9,999 posts and just quit. Just like that. I still miss her and Tigger too.....

Yes, Scribbles, a very noisy, energetic 18 month old girl! :)

Looking back is a part of life, I think. As long as it doesn't stop you from living and looking forward too.

Today, TerryD is on my mind. And Radagast - he was one of my RP friends and a good egg.

Yeah The Danimal would be 20. I am pretty sure he was born the same year as my grand daughter. She just turned 20! How can it be that long ago!! Seems like yesterday!

I was just thinking of some of the Moderators like Sandra, Daefaroth, as well as Alys.
Gwenelf, Bardhwyn and so many many more!

Sandra for sure.... Seems the moderators are all in hibernation!! ;) But I will mind my p's and q's all the same.

SANDRA!!! I actually tried to find her recently...and nothing. No one on FB knew where she was and hadn't heard from here in a long time, even Gimli...who was probably her closest friend here on TORC. :(

SANDRA!! We miss ya....

heliona....Terry D is a beloved friend and memory now. :( *sigh*

Bardhwyn flashed a fin on LinkedIn briefly, but by the time I saw her message, she submerged again.

Elengil posts on HoF every now and then.

It's been years since I've heard from Foolish.

I always miss SOMA. And now Cock-Robin is gone. :(

No Tooks.....I am here, but yes....having to cover some shifts due to stuff I will write on the HELLO... ;) But I am here...still, if I don't post for a week or so, best to call my brother and make sure I didn't fall in the shower or some such and the cats are circling... ;) (I don't even have cats)

Yes...FALA....how could I not have mentioned her before. SO many people to be missed!

Not forgotten. :( :grouphug:

(oh and Frelga dear, drag Geli over to TeP for updates there please.... ;( )

Frelga

I certainly have not forgotten this place, though I've wandered quite far and wide. I can't even access my other ID! But nevertheless... here I return. :)

Some of you I never lost touch with, some I've reconnected with already, but for many of you I've missed you oh so terribly, and why oh why that didn't prompt a return sooner I'll never know, the oddity of human nature! But I hope that in time I'll have a chance to say hi to each of you personally and not just in a generic return post :rose:

Pretty much! Hit the two ring mark right about the time life started to happen and I had far, far less time for messageboards in general.

Hope your holidays are excellent.

Oh wow, I mean, I had to reset my password, but it's lovely to see the old place again.

I really hope you're all well and keeping busy. I'll try to pop in a few threads over the next few days and try to catch up but it has been a while. I miss you all!

So sorry to hear about Calma :cry2:
