Today I haven't done much of anything, but yesterday my sister and I went shopping.

Oddly enough, I found almost everything on my list. :D

Today I accomplished stuff!

Which is more than I can say for many other days. And I may yet accomplish more! Or not. We will see.

I put a coffee table together (with help, hard to hold bits in place by self). Still has that new out of the box smell.

Today I got home from work a little later than usual because I missed the bus. So I didn't make the pumpkin bread hubby wants. But I did find the recipe and track down all the ingredients. (Simple supper took longer to make and eat than I figured!)

Today is kind of coolish/warmish. It looks mighty like rain, but the humidity makes you feel warmer than it actually is. Hubby and I made a late breakfast (omelet, toast & coffee) and are vegging in front of our respective screens: me at the desktop, him at the TV. Our desktop speakers are now defunct, and one thing we must do when I (or we) go to the store next is try to find replacements. Otherwise, if we want sound we have to use the laptop.

Today I got something accomplished housework-wise.

It involved rearranging furniture so it' not something I'm going to have to do every week.

So glad it's finished. :)

Today, it snowed. In June. In the northern hemesphere.

Also, today, I am feeling very blessed, because my kitty was run over by a car, but lived. The vet said it was a miracle that her spine was not damaged and her vital organs were not damaged. Her pelvis was cracked a little. He sewed her up as well as he could, and the stitches will come out in two weeks. She has a bad limp. Probably from the cracked pelvis. But she is alive.

 That's one very lucky kitty you've got there! I'm glad to hear she's safe now.

 Poor kitty, but very lucky!

Today I fought with my printer. It keeps saying the blue ink is empty (it's not), and when I finally replaced it with a brand new cartridge, it said it couldn't see any cartridge in the slot and to try reinstalling it. Except, when I pulled it out to reinstall, it beeped at me angrily for removing it. None of this would be so bad, since 95% of the time I'd rather print in black-and-white, except the printer also decided that since it was out of blue ink, it was incapable of printing in greyscale. >-O :x Yes I tried repeating the process, restarting the printer, and even taping over the ink window to trick the ink level reader. No it didn't help. I'm taking it to Staples to get a professional to yell at it.

Lalaith, VERY lucky for your kitty! How is she doing?
