for new TVM!
Question: Is it too late to join MoME? I've never tried it out before, but I've heard lots, and I want in! |

OK, that tossed coin has finally hit the ground and it stood on its edge. What are the odds of that happening? Guess that means Im in if there is still time, with both sides of the coin. |

I'm back!!! Just read up the three pages of the last TVM. Phew! You guys post a lot!
I'm going to be looking into getting an all-in-one printer/copier/scanner soon, once we're moved into the new house, because although I can print at work, it can be a bit of a pain. And also I have lots of photographic printing paper that I'd like to be able to use. I have some really nice photos that I'd like to be able to print out at home and frame. |

Oh, new TVM! Just in time for the Jewish New Year! Apples and honey for all!
We've had this year's first real rain. A veritable flood, in fact. They say it's the strongest rainfall in
decades
. I woke up today to the noise of something that sounded like the Niagara falls were moved into my neighborhood overnight. And we're due for more this evening!
Did I mention how much I love rain? |

Storyteller, the rains haven't hit yet where I'm living, but I know they're coming soon. Did the rains cause any major problems?
And excuse my n00biness, but what are the "new digs"? |

It hasn't rained a drop here in 3 or 4 weeks. That's very unusual and our plants are not the kind that can survive such long periods of drought.

Wow. Glad you folks like the new place.
And we reeled in a couple more for MoME. Shiney!
I got my new printer. A plain printer-only HP D4360. It prints a lot faster and better than my ol' 722C!!! I guess 11 years of technology makes a difference!
So Happy New Year!
Happy New TVM!
Um...happy happy joy joy in general.
I must go check the MoME threads! |

Love the shiny new digs, Tooks.
Unfortunately, I'm utterly wrecked from the weekend and am simply going to fall into bed, plug in the first X-men movie and try to relax before getting some sleep. I've read back but am just too pooped to post much . . .
Tomorrow, the carpet steam-cleaners will be here and hubby isn't, so that means I have to stay home. I can work from home, but I have a feeling it's going to be steamy, smelly and noisy. *sigh*
But then again, the upside is, I can be online, LOL.

When we used to have the carpet cleaners come.. they were in & out in about an hour. Of course we moved all of our furniture ahead of time so they wouldn't have to and it was a lot quicker. And it's not bad at all if you have air conditioning or can open the windows.
Did someone say Food Fight?

ahhhhh, nice new digs, indeed!
But how in the heck did we get to 2000 so quick in the old thread???? Whew, we are posting wild people.
NL....I saw that sketch....nice to see that mans fine face, though I didn't really understand the sketch.
Another busy week ahead, last week my life outside work eased up, but work went ballistic. This week might not be much better, but I'll try to stay current in here.
I was actually tempted to do MoME this year...I really was. But life made it clear I didn't have the time to devote to it. But as always, I will read.
OH! My husband put up the trim on the screen porch!!! That may not sound big, but that was the last thing to do!!! Yeah! It looks beautiful, and I will post pictures soon. That's one of the many monkeys off our back. |

Shineh.
Not sure how much I'll be around in the next couple of days; I've got a work related trip tomorrow, and a parents' info on the younger one's school on Wednesday.
And now, I'll have to go and oversee the kid's homework before I head for Reggaegón class... |
