I ended up going to the hospital, called my father, and he basically told me I was going, and he would give me the money Smile He told me I was being ridiculous to not go because of money, but I don't understand what my insurance I pay so much for goes for, to have $100 ER co-pays.

*Helps rwhen save Sil from class.*

Eru.. maybe she's stalking you. Did you treat her daughter nicely? Wink

Lewie.. I'm glad you got some proper medical attention.

rhwennie dear, I hope you get insurance coverage SOON.

Vana.. the insurance problem has been building over the last 10 years with costs skyrocketing. The profits involved in the insurance business is astronomically ridiculous. I think (if I properly recall, but I'm not that good with numbers) that my hubby told me that the CEO of our insurance company last year earned $102,000.00 dollars EVERY minute of EVERY day last year. NO ONE needs to make that kind of money at the expense of everyone elses health. The lobbying in congress to KEEP it that way is obscene. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I just signed up for the health insurance at work, though I had to get a high deductible so I can afford it. I do wish that "pre-existing condition" prohibition would be ended.

I say we're too far behind to have PCE. The closer ones maybe, but we're so behind, we've already been lapped.

Sorry, Eru, but I've got to confess to being a good Googler. The extent of my Halo exposure is that I have the (original) soundtrack and have watched my brother and his friends play it. Razz

And I'm with CR--your new sig pic is great!

Ready or not, midterm here I come! In preparation for feeling bad about myself today, for whatever reason, I've dressed rather flamboyantly. We'll see what the department thinks of that... Devil
But anyhow, this class is on the cities and sanctuaries of Ancient Greece, so I've got a lot of temple dates and distinguishing features rattling around in my head. It's hard to use mnemonic devices, too, when there are 6 temples of Hera I need to know! Razz

What kind of archaeology class are you thinking of taking?

I've a question...

How many of you use eBay *counts hands*

Okay, when you do, do you actually read the item description?

I have an item up...it's slightly damaged in two places. My camera wouldn't let me take good pictures of the spots, which I mention in my description. they're also hard to see, also mentioned. I've had three questions on that, one said, "it sounds like it's badly damaged..." huh? Did you READ the description? Did you look at the pictures? Another asked a question in English so broken I'm still not sure what the question was. Laughing I answered anyhow.

This is crazy.

Oh, BTW...it's a Sideshow Weta Balrog. Go. Bid. Now.

Ryan has used ebay and we have bid on things. We definitely read the description and look it over on the picture.

Perhaps by pointing out the problems and making sure you mention them being difficult to see they are thinking that it means something it does not. Who the heck knows what anyone is thinking these days. Rolling Eyes

Hello my lovely PCE heads!! And good day to you whatever time it is for you.

I have never bought anything from Ebay, no sold anything on Ebay. My brother does all the time and I will have to, it is where we get phones that are no longer manufactured. So I need to figure it out.

Anyone know how to make my monitor screen less wide? I literally have to turn my head side to side to read a line. It is annoying. Dang thing is like two feet wide and only a foot tall.

Eru, great siggie picture. Big Grin

Rose, you will get there. Remember when I made the mistake of thinking I was on my last 1,000 and it was really 4,000? Well, here I am. It will happen. Be the ball!! Big Grin <-------Runaway Bride.

Sil friend Hug Good luck on the midterm today. I will keep all things crossed for you.

I don't even want to talk about insurance. I went shopping recently for health insurance and it is just crazy what a single person, with no company to co-pay has to pay monthly. Just nuts.

Love is as big or as little as a hug!!

Tell me about it, Rwhen. The two times I was unemployed last year, the COBRA premiums drained my bank account. It is well named.

Look! Rwhen's 40 away. Go for it! And I'm plowing away too. I want my horsey back.

Lewie, I'm glad that your father offered to pay the deductible, so you got the boil taken care of. Our health care system isn't the best possible, either, but at least, you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to get to a doctor.

And, last I looked, Rwhen had just 25 to go. Cool
