Elvish translation for tattoo

Dear friends, I urgently require your help!!!

My wife and me want to get a tattoo in elfish writing which expresses our feelings towards each other... I have been struggling to get reliable information from the net in regards to the correct translation and the conversion into one of the many writing fond. Therefore we are looking for somebody, who can give us a hand. Her name is NORA which means light and translated in elfish means "Caladhiel" according to a web page I have found. I could imagine a small tattoo with the correct translation and conversion into elfish fond which mean "everlasting light" or "eternal light" or jut NORA written in a beautiful writing fond...
She wants to get something similar. I only found a translation for Timothy which means honor god which means translated "Erutįron"... My actual name is TIMM and I was wondering if there is more direct translation???
PLEASE let us know, if you have any other idea for our tattoo, which will be dedicated to our love to each other...

i have studied elvish for some time, and could translate your names letter for letter into elvish font, although i dont know about translating your names into elvish. if you are still interested ill try to come up with something

i think that should work, sorry i didnt have a lot of time to get everything straightened out, hope that helps. the elvish goes the same as the words in English, the words are written under what each word says

Not sure what website you were at, it might have been Sindarin, though. It depends which Elvish language you want it in. As it's spoken in the films, I can't help. But for the most extensive Elvish language (Quenya) I can. Your best bet is to post it on the various translation threads and see what they come up with. But I'll give it a shot in the meantime.

Dandi's transcription is accurate for the Quenya mode of Tengwar for the English sounds, I have a feeling the English mode as established is different. "Everlasting Light" as a name in Quenya is variously:

oiaelė - everlasting flashing light
oiarilma - everlasting glittering light
oiacįlė - everlasting light
oialaurė - everlasting golden light

I'm afraid I can't help with the translation of Timothy, as there is no word in Quenya for honour that I can find. Some other bods in the Quenya or Sindarin translation threads may be able to help there.

Either way, once you have the words, post it in the Tengwar Transcription thread, saying that it's either Sindarin, Quenya or English (it makes a difference), and someone will get back to you. If you get a Quenya variant, feel free to drop me an email and I'll get back to you with it in a day or so (I don't have any accounts on any image-sharing websites).
