Well I declare!! I thought it might have been a bit premature to start the thread yesterday but I can see that she should have her double shiney by sometime Monday at the latest!! And that is only if she does not post from home this weekend.
Vana and Scribbles set a nice beautiful Antique Italian Folding Walnut chair between them for the newest Double Ring Bearer to seat herself in when she attains her title. |

Om nom nom nom prosciutto. By random coincidence, my neighbours bought a huge chunk of this and I had some.
I wonder where she'll post the last one. Somewhere in RP? Somewhere in Talk? It better be big and fancy. |

One thing that helps is people being on line. Yesterday was a good day with plenty of people posting about. Kept me busy just keeping up. Today I have got to get some work out the door, so I won't be AS active.
And yes, I would guess that early next week, the second one will come.
Rose friend, I knew what rumaki is, but I couldn't resist the pun on the rum.
I don't post from home because I have been on a computer all day long and to face one after nine hours is more than I want in my life. Home time is down time from work and play. Focus on winding down the day, good drink and good food. A few exceptions of course. WCA time, that is a full Saturday. and if a friend is in need, I will be there on a weekend.
Either way, thank you all for making this fun for me and easier too. Many hugs all the way around. |

LOL! And if you're not careful, Patsy will step in and flog you to death with some awful and completely inedible foodstuffs of the Nightmare on the Spoiled Food Buffet Street persuasion . . .
Okay, I promised more food. How about some of those treats I bake for Christmas every year?
Apple Bars and two German pastries
. . .
Help yourselves, but rwhen gets first servings . . .

Hey now Gentlemen, this is supposed to be a party. For soothe put away your weapons of destruction and suck on some of the helium balloons.
And I never spam. I like my spam on toast or with scrambled eggs!!
*run Scribbles there are men with plastic spoons and nerf bats*
In truth, I do not think I spam, to me spam is one liners or just posting an emoticon. I do make every effort to post something meaningful and on topic when possible. I am fortunate to have a job that allows me to post from work and if the opportunity is there, that means I get to post a bunch in a day.
So take THAT and put it in your peace pipe. |

But take warning. The spoon will be used if any dare to question her honour in future.

Indeed, Aristotle, then Plato, then Dante!
Quale allodetta che'n'aere si spazia,
Prima cantando e poi tace contenta
de l'ultima dolcezza che lo sazia
Or, translated,
Like to the lark, into the air she flies!
First singing, then silent, contentified
By ultimate sweetness that satisfies.
Dante, Paradiso Canto XX:73-75

Immanuel Kant was a real pissant
Who was very rarely stable.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
Who could think you under the table.
David Hume could out-consume
Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, [some versions have 'Schopenhauer and Hegel']
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
Who was just as schloshed as Schlegel.
There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya
'Bout the raising of the wrist.
Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed.
John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
Plato, they say, could stick it away--
Half a crate of whisky every day.
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bundle for the bottle.
Hobbes was fond of his dram,
And René Descartes was a drunken fart.
'I drink, therefore I am.'
Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed,
A lovely little thinker,
But a bundle when he's pissed. |

Pffffffffft. Work has been a buggaboo today, keeping me from
SPAMMMMMINGGGGGG my way to glory.
It will most certainly be next week, with only 1.5 hours left today, and work still screaming at me, no way.
Anyway, everyone. Again, thanks for all the "love" I feel it.

Yes, Matrim, I recall the Cheeky Monkey award. You were at your hayday when I left for a time, that was right after we met at Vana's and Guru's for the TTT DVD showing. Then when I came back, you were gone!!! The nerve of ya. |

I know, that was pretty nervey of me to disappear.
I still remember that day fondly. It was the first time I got to meet TORCers and then shortly after that we were off to the Great Moot.
86 to go, that should happen soon.
