I saw Endgame at 2 o'-clock in the morning on Friday - there's just so much in that movie to think about, it's hard to even know where to start talking about it. I won't go into spoilers, of course, but it is definitely a momentous movie. The third act is truly fantastic, and there's some real character drama in there too, but also excellent humor.

A: Ferrous Wheel!

Q: What do you call Iron Man without his suit?
A: Stark naked!

Thor, how did you stay awake until 5am????

Ah, loads of carnage in GOT. And we had the Three Eyed Raven in our studio this afternoon, young Isaac is here on a promotion tour. Tall kid. Would have made a good Harry Potter f Daniel Radcliffe had not been around.

Well, it was necessary that I see it as early as possible (literally).

GOT was particularly good last night, after two slow-paced episodes focused on character development, "The Long Night" exploded very quickly into an unchecked wildfire of death, horror and brutality. But they weren't kidding about the title! The episode is long, and incredibly dark - like, the lighting is awful. Thankfully there was plenty of dragonfire to light things up.
It must have been awesome to meet the Three Eyed Raven himself! Very cool!

Gonna see Endgame again tomorrow as work has a screening at the local cinema. I did tell them I'd already seen it and only pass onto me if there are spares. So luckily there are spares.

I didn't actually meet Bran, he was just in the studio doing interviews on our local GOT talk show called Thrones 360.

You've got a local GOT talk show, you had Isaac Hempstead Wright at your workplace (even if you didn't meet him, still very cool), and you get to go see Endgame again? Some people have all the luck!

I've had one chance encounter with a celebrity (driving next to Mia Farrow).

bah. nl has seen Hugh Jackman in person. It's totally despicable!!!!! ;) :D

Last joke day for April....

Jokes about German sausage are the wurst.

What does a clock do when it's hungry?
It goes back four seconds.

I am reading a book about anti-gravity.
I can't put it down.

A jump-start cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, 'I'll serve you, but don't start anything.

'Doc, I can't stop singing' The Green, Green Grass of Home'.
'That sounds like Tom Jones Syndrome.'
Is it common?
'Well, It's Not Unusual'.

Well, it's been dismal weather and rain around here, while all you are enjoying your spring flowers and perfumed lilacs. And it's cold again.

I didn't know Iriis had a beard? :nono:

Weather here is finally turning more autumn-like. I like the nice crisp mornings. Range of 6-20C days. There was even a dusting of snow on our alps. :) Not that I am skiing this year. Or probably again. I can't get up easily when I fall down anymore.

Our election is getting quite nasty here. A disenter tried to hit our Prime minister with an egg from behind yesterday. Thankfully her aim is bad and she was dragged away, after knocking over n 80yr old lady. Horrid people like this should be charged with assault. In the US she would never have got that close to the President. And other nasty almost hate groups are phoning in bomb threats to the PM's church, others are leaving animal poop in hollowed out books on canidates doorsteps or egging houses of people who don't agree with their (very socialist) way of thinking. I am scared the opposition govt will get in and then tax us all to death by trying to fix climate change when Oz only has 1.3 carbon emissions. The big polluting nations need to be stopped before anything we do will make a difference.

Okay, off my soap box now. Anyone else want a go?

I have a beautiful magnolia tree outside my bedroom window, and then some assorted geraniums, and tulips (which tend to get eaten up by the local deer within a couple of days).
