Cool to have you here. As for the basic story, there's a conspiracy against the Steward brewing in the south of the realm, and Faramir and his friends will be drawn into it, and help solve it. Moreover there will be some development of the Faramir/Lindórie-relationship that was hinted at in TN. I have some plot-twists as well as some of the chief adversaries and allies worked out (most of both these groups have already appeared at the feast in TN), but I'll gladly take in new ideas. For the near future it's planned that Faramir meets his father, who informs him about the general problem, accidentally meets Lindórie in town, who can add to that, decides to accompany her to Lebennin, and motivates Túrin to join him.
As for characters, you can play more or less whoever you want to. The chief setting will be Lebennin, so you could either be someone we meet on our way there, or a resident of these parts who either aids or hinders us, you could be an old friend of Faramir's, Túrin's or Maradir's (Túrin's could be interesting, e.g. an old flame of his -- especially if Visilya should join the thread as well ). You could play a friend of Lindórie's who accompanies her. You could play Lindórie herself, in which case I would mail you some info about her background.
Well, there's plenty of opportunities. I'm sure you'll come up with a cool char. Perhaps Canamarth can make some suggestions, too.

Faramir is going to have a conversation with his father soon, which should make the course of the story more clear, and also give the characters a task, and open possibilities for new characters. I suggest you wait until then (shouldn't take us long to get there), and perhaps just follow the thread for the time being.

O.k. thanx for that. That will allow me to get the measure (well a little of) your characters and think about who and what I can play.
I can't play Edain as he wasn't born till after the battle of the Pellenor fields. (Something I would like to elaborate on in a tread eventually), and as this is set when Faramir was young, that would be wrong cronologically.
Probably some guy of Gondor or Ithiellin. Gotta keep thinking and brush up on my writing, you're puttin me to shame!

Actually she didn't have any role, and I don't know how long she'll be with us -- although her absence would certainly be a loss. We included her to give Canamarth a character she can play until her actual character appears, and moreover I thought it interesting if Túrin had a girlfriend, in case Visilya would join the thread. I don't know if GT has any plans of doing so.
