And to think I was at the real Brick tavern on thursday night. There was plenty of beer and tales there too, except you had to have cash $$ for the beer.

Stumbling into the tavern covered in snow, Strider walks up to the juke box, slips a quarter into the slot..."now what to play...what to play."

A tall, raven haired woman sticks her head around the door.
"Did I hear the word "beer"?"

Hey Snowdog, you must be talking of the Brick Tavern in Roslyn Washington, established in 1884 and is the oldest tavern in the state of Washington. It is a favorite stop when I am that way.
Meanwhile I will have a beer with Shadowfax

A dark elf walks through the door.

"Any chance of a goblet of wine. I haven't tasted a good wine while i've been on my travels. Oh yes and watch out for a rowdy dwarf who may come in here demanding beer, he is a friend of mine."

There is a bang outside and a grizzled old dwarf carrying a battle axe storms through the door.

"BEER! I smell beer!"

He rushes to the bar and empties out his pockets. A fair few coins come out and all that is heard from the dwarf is that one word. Beer.

Yes Tyrion, we have wine, the best in all of Gondor no less. Thats what the wine vendor told me anyways.

Shadowfax pops the cork on a dust covered bottle of wine and pours a glass for the Elf.

Hail and well met Gotrek! Its been a long time since we adventured together! Here, have a flagon of beer on the house!

Shadowfax looks over at Strider standing by the juke box. Hey Ranger, did ya pocket my coin or are we gonna listen to some music? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

...Strider wonders whether or not to hit the button on the Juke Box for the Everly Brothers to annoy the barkeep...but decides against it...it's his quarter afterall. Smiling at Shadowfax, Strider clicks the A-12...Sweet Home Alabama...wherever the heck in Middle Earth THAT is <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>...
"Bartender...some Green Tea from the Sea of Rhun, I've had enough ale" <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

Strider gives the bartender the evil eye. Passes the "green" tea back and opts for a beer. "I'm not as tired as I was...or I'm at least more tired but less sick...or I'm sick and tired....I can't remember which...at any rate...a beer would do nicely"

Yeah, its pretty good stuff, but hard to get. You have to wait until the moose is asleep, sneak up on him and catch the stuff in a jar!

I hear Canadians really go nuts over this stuff! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Snowdog goes over to the jukebox and sees that there is a couple Allman Brothers songs and a couple 38 Special songs, but is mostly Skynard. He then goes back to strider- and they clang mugs and take a drink... Moosehead to Moose Drool. Snowdog then finds a long horn in the corner and he makes a long moosecall with it.

Genuvere parked her 833 Sportster out in front and walked in the doors of the Brick. The spittoon trough was running with water and some sat there and talked. She stepped up to the bar and ordered an ale.

(Happy Birthday Shadowfax on the 5th, same day is starlitediva!)

Mithrandir slowly opens the door with a creak, he takes a seat in the corner, and gets his barings. He is an observer, the kind who by the time he speaks to someone, he knows their personality, and weaknesses. He orders some mulled wine and leans his staff against the table, ready for a quiet evening.

Looking for a spot to get in from the chilly weather, Erinhue comes into The Brick. "Ahhh" he sighs in relief. "this place's got a jukebox. Speaking to the dragonharp tucked under his arm he said,"Looks like we get the night off, eh Agarak."

Tossing two silver coins onto the bar, Erinhue sets Agarak on the polished surface, and called out, "Wild Goose for me and a short Harp's for the harp."

The Door swang open again and a oddly dressed stranger entered. He was wearing a Boston Red Sox cap, a Large sweatshirt with I "Heart" NY on it and dark green cavalry twill trousers. "Hello everybody." he said, "Look who been on his holidays then!"

Realising that he didn't recognise most of the people (who were looking at him incredulously) Edain went to the bar and ask for a nice cup of Earl Grey Tea.
